A referee in Argentina was shot and killed by a player who he had just dismissed, according to local reports. Cesar Flores was officiating an amateur match in Cordoba, around 700 kilometers northwest of Buenos Aires, when he showed an unnamed player a red card. The incensed player took a gun from his bag and returned to the pitch, shooting the 48-year-old referee three times, in the neck, head and chest. "It all happened during the match," a police source told the EFE news agency. "We don't know what happened with the referee, but the player was angry and went to get his gun and killed him."
http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/16/football/argentina-referee-shot-by-player/
Holy shit, what the fuck. Talk about overreacting. Poor referee, just doing his job and gets killed for it.
Yeah well football is super serious business in South America, just look at what the Brazilians are like
Yeah well football is super serious business in South America, just look at what the Brazilians are like
brazilians are nothing compared to what happens here in argentina. people die all the time, get into fights, injure people and destroy property alltogether.
That's a better death for a referee than what has happened down there before. I remember a while back reading an article about referees being decapitated, later their heads would be on the field stuck onto a stick or pole.
what are referees doing in argentina I thought they came from syria?
Wasn't this in the trailer for wolfenstein the new order?

The ref that got punched by a player, then stabbed him and ended up getting quartered and decapitated by the mob.

http://edition.cnn.com/2013/07/07/world/americas/brazil-soccer-dismemberment/ No, Argentina has more of a hooligan problem when it comes to soccer violence. Don't know what's the deal in Brazil but after what I saw when lurking on DocumentingReality, I'm glad I'm not living there.
Was that Argentina too or Brazil? The ref that got punched by a player, then stabbed him and ended up getting quartered and decapitated by the mob.
Is south america even a real place
Well, hope he enjoys playing football in jail. Apparently from what people have been saying here, he won't have trouble finding players.
Is south america even a real place
eh at least we don't have crazy shootings every week in which a mad guy kills 10+ people in a school or something this kind of attitude towards the rest of the world is what bothers me the most, some yanks think that because they live in the USA the rest of the world is shit, and they don't even know where they live, who they vote, or what their rights are
What a fucking child lol Boohoo I cheated and can't handle it [editline]18th February 2016[/editline] Guy should shoot himself in the dick [editline]18th February 2016[/editline]
eh at least we don't have crazy shootings every week in which a mad guy kills 10+ people in a school or something this kind of attitude towards the rest of the world is what bothers me the most, some yanks think that because they live in the USA the rest of the world is shit, and they don't even know where they live, who they vote, or what their rights are
You're right, there's just a cartel that kills women men and children and retaliate 10x worse on a personal level when someone tries to stop them.. Totally better [editline]18th February 2016[/editline] Or is that just Mexico
Wasn't this in the trailer for wolfenstein the new order?
Yes, but the other way around.

I mean if you want to make fun of america then make fun of people's hilarious gun fetish or the fact that someone who is essentially president Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho has a serious fighting chance of becoming our president but don't make stuff up I'm not saying that South America was shit, I was saying that how seriously they take football is unreal. A series of referee murders proves this, you have to admit that it's kind of comical.
