All hope is lost, Louisville is now anarchy central.
This was too violent for me.
This video is actually a joke response since I doubt people not from Kentucky would know of the relatively small time shitstorm atm. http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2014/08/14/louisville-purge-threats-monitored-police/14073569/ People are freaking out for no reason, and some people refuse to go to the State Faire which is currently happening. This video is a great laugh though.
Damn, he got tagged hard

So it looks like there making a 3rd movie i see.
-snip- after more looking turns out it wasnt real. whoops
I have to think that if a "Purge" was actually real this would probably be the most committed crime on purge night just so people can have a giggle. Second would of course be drugs, and third some form of theft.
Currently living in Louisville, actually. Since 'the purge' began there's less traffic on the highway behind me, I've heard a few more police sirens than usual, but so far nothing in my neighborhood out of the ordinary. Regardless, I'm keeping my head down and rifle handy on the off chance anyone tries anything cheeky. [editline]16th August 2014[/editline] People at my job were chatting about it for most of today, but mostly in the jovial 'this is retarded' sense. Seems like the only people who are going to take this seriously are teenaged high school students with more free time than common sense.

But then there's a bunch of 14 year old freshmen who are talking about how afraid they are or how they wanna do this and that. It's all a joke.
Forgive me for not knowing anything about this since I'm across the world.. Why is this happening exactly? Is it just because in that movie they specified the date which it happened in the story, and now people are actually doing it on the same date "just because lol" or what?

Then people bought into it and are like "fuck it sure why not"
I kinda feel like, even though there is probably no real organized "purge" going to happen, it isn't unreasonable for people to be afraid. I mean, even the overwhelming majority of people simply fear mongering on Twitter about how they hope it's not going to happen is still spreading the idea of the whole thing to a lot of people, and some of those people might just be [del]crazy[/del] stupid enough to take it seriously.

The cops of course have to respond and have a greater presence because that's just what they have to do, but idiots took that as if there is actually a Purge going on. It's a good way to find out who is an idiot.
Apparently, somebody threw a dildo at a car's windscreen.
People really take bad screenwriting too seriously.
Just let the stupid people kill each other, they can purge themselves.
Just let the stupid people kill each other, they can purge themselves.
Ow I cut myself on that edge
Just let the stupid people kill each other, they can purge themselves.
stupid people tend to also kill people who are not stupid
stupid people tend to also kill people who are not stupid
That's hilarious.
That's hilarious.
Well that gave everyone a glimpse into your psyche that nobody needed.
That's hilarious.
ouch i have lacerations from that edge
