I worked overnight at a BJ's Wholseale club a year back and more than half the people there spoke just like this.
That's not inherently a bad thing though, most of them were really nice people.

Its pretty common, in less fortunate inner city areas in particular, here in the US.
I mean that's how I'd talk if I were trying to be funny or make fun of it, but I certainly don't do that in everyday conversation.

A lot of black people talk like that in normal conversation.
It's the same type of stereotype as the redneck hillbilly type of speech. Both are equally nonsensical
