And this time, he’s bringing a new friend along with him. Specifically: The image above shows Sticks, a new character who will play a major role in every facet of Sega’s upcoming “Sonic Boom” universe — a multiplatform franchise extension that will include Wii U and Nintendo 3DS vide games, a Cartoon Network series, and, of course, merch. The “jungle badger” — yeah, that’s a thing now — is “a force of nature in every way,” according to Sega — one who’s slowly acclimating to the company of other animals after a long stint alone in the wilderness.
How to make an Australian character? Shape their head like a fucking boomerang

This actually doesn't look that bad, design-wise. Now let's wait for the shitty in-game model.
Wasn't there a character that looked just like this in the past for this series?
This actually doesn't look that bad, design-wise. Now let's wait for the shitty in-game model.
looks like DECENT (not good, decent) original character donut steel fanfiction to me
The furries are going to have a field day with this :v:
An Aussie character with a head shaped like a boomerang. Could you at least TRY and be subtle?
Wasn't there a character that looked just like this in the past for this series?
You're probably thinking of Marine the Racoon: [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120311043935/sonic/es/images/b/bd/Marine_The_Raccoon_(ACTUALMENTE).png[/t] I don't blame you, they are pretty similar.
Blatant copy of my original character, Blony Blabott I'm already in the process of suing SEGA.
This actually doesn't look that bad, design-wise. Now let's wait for the shitty in-game model.
It's pretty much their par for the course design, same basic body as with most characters, since it's a female there's clothes, and since it's Sonic Boom there's bandages/tape where there shouldn't be. Also, this isn't the first time there's been an Australian character, they did the boomerang hair, and the brown colors, the last time too.

It looks like she has two huge cancerous growths on her head.
The video in the news article made me cringe. I wish there was a way to post it here. [editline]29th May 2014[/editline]

The promotional models are not the same as the in-game models though. Plus, the lighting is not the same as in-game.
do you know how much hentai is going to pop up for this character

I miss Ty. :(
[t]http://i.imgur.com/NbCWLTa.jpg[/t] ? First thought, also by Sega.

She put the bands at the end to cut the blood from splurting out.
Original Character Do Not Steal
I miss Ty. :(
I almost want to go get out my ps2 now, that game was pretty fun iirc.
The youtube reveal trailer: Looks like they made her a little unhinged.
Reposting my reaction to this shitheap from the Wii U megathread:
"Sticks is a wiiild anheemul!" 10 seconds in and I already hate it. [editline]fuckingwhy[/editline] Fuck that voice. Fuck those unfunny lines. Fuck that fact that they felt that the Sonic franchise needed ANOTHER fucking new character. But especially, fuck that horrible voice.
In what shape or form does this thing represent a badger? Because I'm not seeing it.
what have i done with my life
Her head looks like a fucking croissant.
If she says cheesy ass generic Australian lines like "Crikey mate!" "Another shrimp on the barbie" "Got a dollar for the bus mate?" "Get fucked cunt" By god
The image in the OP reminded me why I hate Sonic character designs. They always start with a sphere for a head and then just stick stuff to it. The shape of the head isn't changed, it's just a ball with stuff stuck to it.

Although I will admit mostly.
