Mmkay, so you know all those shows that are so amazing but their theme songs are so terrible it almost turns you off? Here is the destination for all those great shows which theme songs you completely hate. Alternatively, if you post "BACKWARDS CAT IS BACKWARDS" then you are allowed to post a terrible show with a great opening. Yes, I went there.
RULES:
1) No Anime. I mean, really? Gay.
2) Theme song cannot be short, must be atleast 10 seconds long. (or around that)
3) I would prefer if the show was still active, therefore we can see episodes, etc, but this is not an exact rule.
4) Must post the theme song in a video or link a video in your post.

The music pretty much makes it for me. If i dont like a shows opening, then i probably wont watch it enough to get into it.
Uhm, the show looks good from the pictures and stuff, but I have to admit that theme song is total shit. I just hate country music. And Anime is all japanese music and it all sounds the same. I'm not hating against the genre, but the music would just be listening to japanese people sing. Which would all sound the same to everyone. (unless you're japanese)

Seriously, Japan may in some ways be more fucked up than the states, but that doesn't mean they have less good stuff than us. In some ways their fucked uppedness allows them to explore topics we don't. And I'm not fucking talking about that weird ass fetish shit, I'm talking about social commentary. And that doesn't count fucking Evangelion.
The thing about anime is that it's 90% weird ass schlock, 5% awesome shit distancing itself from the schlock, and 5% shit pointing out how fucked up the schlock is. Same thing can be said of our shit, just without the weird ass part.
