• Klout.com - I Am Influential About Soda And The Holocaust

If you haven't heard about Klout.com yet then here's what it is in a nutshell: It's a website that aggregates information about you over the various social networking sites you're signed up on (ie. Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Using this information it generates reports daily about what topics you're influential about, what kind of person you are, who you influence, etc. You are given a score that changes depending on how many people you're friends with, how many people interact with you, how much influence you have over people, etc. You can give people "Klout points" (abbreviated to +K) for topics you think they are influential about. There's also perks for people who have high Klout scores. I looked at them and none seem overly exciting but free shit is free shit, right? The concept is pretty neat but in execution it's a bit boring. It's useful as a tracker to see how much popularity you've gained and what topics you might be influential about, although it can be wildly inaccurate. It thinks i'm influential about Tron, Soda and The Holocaust, if you need an idea of how inaccurate it is. So in summary, Klout is less cool as a website for tracking your stats and more fun as a website where you can give people like Skrillex +K for Homosexuality and Diapers.
I find it to be very inaccurate.
