This is the pilot episode for a new Machinima series myself and some friend intend to develop.
We are not entirely sure where we want to go with it so we are open to suggestions and criticism, not that we wont be taking offense to harsh comments.
We hope you guys enjoy it and that it really takes off with more character development, overall plot, and so on.

I really enjoyed it :buddy:
But parts did feel weird at times. Editing could have been snappier. Its an awesome start though, post the next one when it comes out?
That was cool!
Except for the penis right at the start.
dude he's got two dicks

Thanks, I'll definitely be posting more.

Really? That was my favorite part.
dude he's got two dicks
no no, it just tears in half when he walks around.
why did the sun change, at the start it was the detailed round one and the rest of the video had the default square one
It was good.
Next episode: make some god damned clothes. Who builds a house before clothes?

Lens flare effect... It was used at the beginning to provide for a nice introduction, however we aim to retain most of the vanilla aspects of Minecraft like the textures. Really the aim was to improve the graphics but avoid distorting the look and feel of the game everyone knows and loves.

Well in Minecraft your starting skin has clothing. Naturally, you do build a house first. Ignoring that though, we will cloth him in the second episode since it seems to be such a problem. I can see how the nudity would become dull after a few episodes anyway.
I wholeheartedly enjoyed that very much.
Just some critique:
1) Editing could have been a little quicker
2) Just saying that it would have been more artistic if you never showed his junk
3)Turn down the voice volume just a bit
The Ending was absolutely fantastic BTW, keep up the magic.
That faolco1 fella looks pretty handsome.
Only problem I had was that you made it seem like Minecraft. Don't say, "i can only carry 64 blocks before it starts anew" or anything like that. Give it a more realistic touch.
Should probably figure out a way of removing the nametag from the top of your guy, if possible.
Otherwise I quite enjoyed it.

Thanks, the edits will definitely be improved. To be honest we didn't put a whole lot of effort or thinking into the first episode.

Well we did mention that faolco1 said it was heavier. It's more of a comedic line than anything else. I know exactly what you mean though, thanks.

I don't think it is. If we really wanted to we could record on lan to specify the names. I thought about this too. What we hope is that everyone will get used to the characters names and accept it for what it is. Thanks.
When it ended I actually began looking for the next episode.
Bravo.
Looking forward to the next installment.
Your voice reminds me of Bear Grylls when he's telling a story
Not bad, not bad at all.
I liked it but I got annoyed with his voice
Never reskin your character. Ever.

U mad?
This is really cool
But I would like to see things being approached as if a real person was suddenly transported into Minecraft. Like he didn't just somehow know that punching trees would produce wood. Maybe instead could have said something like "there weren't any sticks or any small rocks to make tools with, everything seemed to be pressed into blocks like legos. I needed to gather wood blah blah blah no tools going crazy and eventually, out of frustration I started punching the trees and to my surprise, a square section of the tree broke off and shrunken to a portable size, which I found that when set back down would return to it's normal size"
and stuff like that
If you don't even know what your name is, how are you going to know how to make torches, tools, etc. Also, how would you know there are creatures that are aggressive if you've never met one?
When I saw the title I expected some sort of Minecraft Survivor thing where there were several people on the island who interact with each other.
But, it was cool. Nicely done. I like the voice over.

I'm not sure how we would elude to making things with there being no other way then cheating with a wiki or randomly placing blocks on the work bench. We will introduce items slowly, however, we cant really avoid them.
I feel the creatures are presumably aggressive because their scary. I hope to introduce each creature over a period of time since there is obviously a lack of content in the game. We will see what we can make of it.
Thanks for the thoughts (:
