First here's the scoop from the Times Colonist (THIS IS IN VICTORIA B.C CANADA!) Saanich police have evacuated 1,100 students from Reynolds Secondary School in the wake of a bomb threat. John Gaiptman, Greater Victoria School District superintendent, said that at about 10:15 a.m. today, a bomb threat was found scrawled on a bathroom wall in the school. Police were called and they immediately evacuated the high school, which has students in grades 9 through 12. Gaiptman said the school will remain closed for the remainder of the day as police have advised the search process will be lengthy. Sgt. Julie Fast, Saanich police spokeswoman, said that parents who want to pick up their children should be advised that Borden Road is closed. It is the second school in the capital region to receive a bomb threat this week. Belmont Secondary School is also closed today due to a bomb threat that was received Wednesday afternoon, 30 minutes before the end of the school day. That threat was also found scrawled on a bathroom wall. The RCMP searched the school with bomb-sniffing dogs from the West Shore detachment and Victoria police. No explosive substances were found. The Story from my point of view: So I was in Tech Ed, I was sawing a finger joint while everyone else was doing the same, when all of a sudden our teacher just told us to shut up. I listened in to the new silence to hear the P.A system saying that There's been a threat on the school, and everyone need to get there stuff and leave immediately, everyone obviously was excited about this. I was at my locker and the RCMP were standing in front of every entry way telling everyone to hurry up, the Principal was pulling kids out of the school and I was walking down the Hall way and the librarian was saying "I love you" to the kids. I got spooked and left fast, I then found myself outside waiting for any of my friends to show up, eventually after 2 minutes the Teachers who were walking out of the school told me to leave the property. People were crying and the school was flooded with police cars, and firetrucks, dozens of them each. I met up with my friends Brendan and Andrew, and I walked home cars were frantically picking up there kids and the traffic started to die down as it turns out Borden Road got closed, This is a massive intersection that is always busy, and is usually a mandatory section of the road to get through to go somewhere. People were crying and everyone was on there cellphones. This was probably an empty threat, but just 2 days ago Belmont High School was closed for the same threat. I'll get more news on this when more comes.

Cool.
oh come on, you seriously have to be a pussy if you cry over a bomb threat we had several called and i just rush down the stairs and get out of there
Ouch. There's a lot of these things it seems nowadays.
Anytime you want a day off from school, scribble a little something on the wall.
The same thing happened to my school a few days before Christmas Break. No cops were called, nobody was evacuated. Some people just got spooked but figured "That guy must be desperate". Some people can be impatient when it comes to Holiday Break.
Anytime you want a day off from school, scribble a little something on the wall.
Wow, we must have pressed the button at the exact same time, because right when I posted, your post was right under me.

This happens like 3 times in a Year in my town. Some kids think its funny to phone police and say there is a bomb in some school.. everyone gets evacuated and then police find the pranker. I remember a lot of these, every pranker got caught, but they don't stop..
or call in sick you won't go to jail for that
you take a marker, write something on the wall this is not csi, if someone commits a crime they don't ejaculate on the floor
or call in sick you won't go to jail for that
Yeah but my way won't count towards absences.
Who the fuck starts crying during a bomb threat? Fucking pussies. Fucking ninja
Isn't there a thread like this every week or so? Anyway, schools react differently to these kind of thing, but on the bathroom wall? That is a obvious place to put something bullshit and not get caught...

This happens at my school a lot, never once was it a serious bomb threat. It's always some dumb ass who's trying to miss an exam by having the school evacuated and closed until the bomb squad searches it. They always get tracked back, and always get expelled; yet you find idiots doing this at least once a year.
i miss my school bomb threat days, t'was fun. watched movies and did jack shit
I remember in 4th or 5th grade there was a bomb threat and all the teachers were just like, hey there might be a bomb, let's all spend the day at the nearest church.
Why is it that whenever I read something about Americans and school, they always talk about walking to school and that. My school's far too far off to walk.
We've had bomb threats but there were never security guards all over the place and people freaking out If there was though I'd haul ass
On bomb threat days, I used that as an excuse to put the pedal to the metal For a fun-filled day downtown at the local arcade, LAN place, and mongolian barbecue.
I remember getting one in 4th grade and we all evacuated the school in big ass lines about 150 yards from the school. Then we got another one in 5th grade, I got on the bus as we were about to leave from school then the bus driver told every to get out immediately and I remember kids screaming and running in the school. The bus drivers were inspecting all of their engines if there was a bomb and there none. Apparently it was called in by the same guy from the first one as well and he got caught for that one as well. Fucking dumbass
