The show tells the stories of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities, and how these abilities take effect in the characters' lives. It's a great show, and although it has had its downsides, it always manages to pull itself back up with awesome episodes. There are a total of four seasons (and five volumes) that have already aired. I recommend you watch it if you haven't watched it before -- especially the first season. (spoilers ahead) There are seasons and 'volumes', and this is how it goes: Season 1

Volume One: Genesis
- Season 2

Volume Two: Generations
- Season 3

Volume Three: Villains
Volume Four: Fugitives
- Season 4

Volume Five: Redemption
- Season 5 (unconfirmed as to if there will be another season)

Volume Six: Brave New World
- At the beginning of Volume 6, "Brave New World", Claire reveals the presence of people with special abilities to the world by leaping off a tall ferris wheel, hitting the ground, and then standing up again fully recovered, all while being followed by a group of news reporters with their cameras. While she is climbing, Sylar comments to Peter, "It's a brave new world." That cliffhanger made me really, really want to see more. So, anyone else watch this?
I missed an epsiode during season 2 and then it just became so confusing and shit.
I love Heroes, it's fucking awesome. I live in the UK so I think I'm a bit behind compared to the US.
Crap show, season 1 was great though. Should have let the bomb explode.
I enjoyed this show up until the most recent season. At first it was alright, but then it just turned to absolute shit when they began crying about their feelings.
Heroes is a great show; one of the only shows I still watch. Anybody know when the next volume starts?
Crap show, season 1 was great though. Should have let the bomb explode.
What bomb?
What bomb?
Go watch heroes now you twit, and you'll understand.
I loved that last volume
Volume 5 was fantastic. But they should plan for an end.
Volume 5 was fantastic. But they should plan for an end.
I never want it to end :saddowns:
I watched this up until the beginning of Season two. Then lost interest.
I never want it to end :saddowns:
This. Unfortunately I know it's going to, though, because there's only so many new things they can do with the show. Maybe if it goes back up in ratings & views they'll keep making more seasons. I hope they do. I need my weekly dosage of Sylar.
Go watch heroes now you twit, and you'll understand.
Technically it's not a bomb, you twit.
They've just started airing season 3 here :sigh: Though i have seen all episodes.
Benji you should move the thread from GD here :) and yeah that finale was pretty sweet although Hiro could fix what Claire did really easily and it just seems like Hiro is there just incase anyone fucks up. Like he can undo anyone's mistakes. [editline]10:10AM[/editline] Nevermind, the Heroes thread is already in this section. Why not use that one? There was a huge cliffhanger, cant wait to see how that turns out.
Does anyone know of a site where I can watch it online from the UK?
Hulu + Proxy, although I do that and I frequently ragequit because it never buffers and it jumps constantly. Just watch on BBC
Technically it's not a bomb, you twit.
Quote, Peter: "I am the bomb" He blows up, destroying shit = He's a bomb.
I feel Hiro might die in the end, if he gets a tumor.

It's a brave new world :haw:
If Hiro intercepted it would spoil the meaning of the new volume. It's a brave new world :haw:
I'm pretty sure he's done with altering the past. He initially didn't want to do it, as he knows that the butterfly effect can cause immense damage to the timeline if you have no idea what you're doing. Samuel convinced him that sometimes altering an event in the past has a short-term effect and wouldn't cause any long-term damage, so Hiro got the notion that he should fix all the mistakes in his life that went wrong. He patched Ando and his sister's relationship, saved an employee from suicide, and various other events, all with the understanding that with his brain tumor would eventually kill him, so he wanted to make amends before it was too late. When Samuel had Charlie teleported away Hiro began to realize the error of what he was doing. His last quest was to see Charlie happy, and he wanted to spend his life with her. But when he recovered from his tumor and Charlie revealed to him that she was happy, his quests were over. Ando reminded him that there was no such thing as a "small butterfly", and all events in the past should stay set in stone. And what does Hiro have to lose anyway? He accomplished everything he wanted to, so why not let Claire reveal the existence of the evolved humans? What's Hiro got to lose?
I stopped watching about halfway through season three because I was tired of getting jerked around. "This person isn't actually dead! We're going back in time again to do absolutely nothing of importance! We're going to follow the story of some new hero who is going to die anyways and play almost no role in the story!" Not to mention that Hiro went from being a likable character to being a broken record in Season 3. Whoever was writing his dialogue must have died and passed it on to his five-year-old son. [editline]08:16PM[/editline] What I'm trying to say before I get reported for trolling is, has it improved at all?
"I hate carnivals." "Yep." I seriously want to kick the writers in the dick.

The most recent season "Redemption" was really dull and boring. SO MUCH FREAKING TALKING! It's gotten unbearable in my opinion. And the carnival and we're all a big family shit wasn't really interesting nor entertaining. The only parts that I liked where those with Claire, Noah, Tracy Strauss and Angela. Hiro & Ando really disappointed me this time just like Sylar (did he even kill anybody? :byodood:). Peter is just annoying as fuck and although the subplot with the deaf woman could've been good, they ruined it with all this emotional crap and WORDS WORDS WORDS. Don't get me wrong, I usually love a good story, but here it was just too much. I miss the first three seasons :gonk: I think I'm going to cut myself now.

Personally I think that Volume 1 and 5 were the best
