Note: Reason i said rumor in the title is because i don't know if the source is legit or not. umm what? the conflict of interests is mircosoft has an xbox, the main competing platform to the sony playstation, not that geohot is a hacker

It's an anonymous donation. There's no proof that it's Microsoft. If Microsoft provided a receipt while claiming they did it, who knows what relationships will break. End of thread.

Loving the hypocrisy here. Microsoft has always had a big lockdown on the Xbox 360's hack-ability. Would still be great if Geohot won. I'm interested in what the repercussions would be.

I wonder if Microsoft's actions are geared towards gaining good publicity, or they just enjoy shoveling crap in Sony's face.
