WARNER Brothers said on Thursday it was 'working actively' to remove a section of the latest Harry Potter movie which has been 'stolen' and illegally posted online, even before the film opens. The studio giant said it would vigorously pursue those who posted the reportedly 36-minute clip of the movie's start on the Internet, a week after the world premiere Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part One. The movie, expected to be a global blockbuster like previous instalments of the boy wizard's adventures, doesn't hit screens in most of the world until Friday, Nov 19. 'This week a portion of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was stolen and illegally posted on the Internet. This constitutes a serious breach of copyright violation and theft of Warner Bros. property,' it said. 'We are working actively to restrict and/or remove copies that may be available. Also, we are vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law,' added a statement. Britain's New Musical Express (NME) reported that the stolen section was the first 36 minutes of the movie. Warner Bros could not immediately confirm the length of the clip.
oh no my movie has been leaked
1. Leak clip 2. "scramble to remove it" 3. ??? 4. free publicity and profit!
You would think that, if the movie's good, that would help. It could sort of act like a teaser.
Wouldn't this type of leak originate inside of the industry and not from those pesky online pirates?
You would think that, if the movie's good, that would help. It could sort of act like a teaser.
I saw the first 36 minutes that got leaked, it only made me more excited for it to come out
I bet it was the rape scene
I bet it was the rape scene
There's a rape scene?
Of course they can't tell anyone they intentionally leaked it. They just have to wait for the legal side to cool down and either mysteriously settle with these invisible pirates, or drop it. Bam, free publicity. [editline]18th November 2010[/editline] ^ Wouldn't a rape scene be spelled out in the book? :buddy: I never read the book.

But then again, it was quite a while back...
Saw the movie, was fucking awesome.
There's a rape scene?
It's because of Emma Watson
My friend told me it's DVD quality but there's a giant Warner Brothers transparent watermark over it.
