Borderlands Psycho Mask - General

Okay, so I want to make my own Borderlands Psycho Mask. Sounds like a great idea, right? Yeah, well I have no idea where to start. So here I am. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's this guy: [IMG]http://360rantrave.com/images/borderlands/Borderlands_Cover.jpg[/IMG] I found a forum where a guy made one, and it was done so well that of course it made me want one RIGHT NOW. Unfortunately, he completely failed to specify how he made it. Basically, I'm asking for anyone with some ideas or even somebody who knows how to do stuff like this to tell me if it's within my capabilities. I have an $80 budget as of now. TIA Facepunch.

I have no advice as to how to make one yourself, but the mask that guy made is really cool. (thread will soon be about how good the mask OP didn't make is)

It looks like it's made of leather in the pics, but I can't really tell. It's probably a do-it-yourself-er, so if you're both skilled and patient you can probably do it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how you would. He might have molded the leather specifically to his face with a mannequin or something.
