• 'Business Sector' in Hobbies Subforum

I'd love to see a Business section in the Hobbies for things like Stock threads, Startup Business Ideas\Experiences, Hat market values, and anything related to business. I'm currently going into Economics in college and I'd love for anyone else interested in those kinds of fields to collaborate ideas and experiences!
i agree. i would really like to see something like this
That section is already tiny enough as it is, what would this achieve besides slowing down one of the slowest sections on the forums? Just make your business threads there.

No harm giving it a shot for a couple months.
If the forum doesn't work out, definitely make a thread here in GD. I for one would really like to see something like this
Definitely worth a thread, but I don't think there will be enough people here into business to keep a whole subforum active.
Wouldn't mind one. Maybe move the tales from retail thread to there so it has some starting ground.
It works better as a thread, not a subforum. For example, the Mathematician thread is relatively busy yet it would never work as an entire subforum.
Thats the thing all this business and school shit can be moved into perhaps an education section?
Maybe, but does the forum really need another slow niche subforum when its constituent threads could probably get posted in GD and SH where they reach a wider audience? I say this because I don't think there are enough threads about education to actually thrive as a subforum.
Probably doesn't need a subforum. But if someone set up a thread for it, it'd be cool I guess. I study business and commerce at university so I can probably contribute to the thread a lot.

But not sure about TF2 hats in it, lets leave that to TF2.
Yeah I don't think we'll be getting a subforum but would you's want me to set up a general chat for things business and commerce related?
Just do it, worst thing that could happen is that it fails [sp]followed by you getting perma'd[/sp]
Worth a shot I guess haha give me a minute
Start a business thread and a market/stock thread. It is not certain that many people will have the same interests as you. If it proves popular enough to outgrow the thread into several threads, it might be worthy of a subforum. Also, having one popular thread on top of GD will last longer than in a subforum. Have you seen the state of most subforums these days?
I'd be interested in having a thread for it first, then if it's popular enough maybe a subforum. I've seen a good amount of people here also interested in business so it could be a good idea.
I imagine the name of the subforum, and the sarcastic line underneath it would be something like this: The business thread Tell us your market edge so we can use it against you.
