Apple is launching its first major app for Android devices today, expanding its Apple Music platform to Android-based smartphones and tablets. With the introduction of a beta Apple Music app for the Google Play Store, Android users will be able to subscribe to the Apple Music streaming service, listen to Beats 1 radio, and access the Apple Connect artist-based social network.
The new Apple Music app is available from the Google Play store and requires Android 4.3 or later. It's available in all of the countries where Apple Music for iOS is available, with the exception of China. Apple Music includes the same three-month trial for Android users and it is priced the same - $9.99 for an individual plan and $14.99 for a family plan.
I hope they continue this trend and get iMessage on Android.
And XCode on Windows.

Considering the fact that patent trolls shat on the idea of bringing FaceTime to other platforms like Jobs originally wanted, I'd find it doubtful iMessage becomes a thing outside of Mac OS X and iOS.
Xcode on the other hand...that'd be nice. iWork (at least the versions from 2011 or so since that was when it wasn't starting to fall apart) as native Windows programs would be pretty cool to compete with Microsoft Office. I find that Keynote absolutely wrecks PowerPoint.

iMessage on Windows would be amazing, there's just so many times where i dont want to pick up my phone and text people and would prefer doing it on my laptop
I could text on my pc with android text messaging, thats the only thing i miss about android really
if android had imessage that just got rid of the only reason why i would even want an iphone in the first place
would save so much on texting
The Apple Music app for Android, in my limited use, seems to be well written and adheres to Google's Material Design guidelines (mostly). Why don't they give the same treatment to iTunes on Windows. That application is abysmal.
