Hi folks, welcome back to our newest trailer! You guys at Facepunch have been with me since the beginning and have provided awesome constructive criticism. I really can't believe we are on year 3 of our development. Thank you for the support! Your feedback has helped shaped aspects of the Frontier. It seems like decades ago when I first thought about the Frontier on one boring day at school. BUT before I show the video I'd like to talk about some things here. I know it may be a sensitive topic but since Bethesda announced Creation Club, I feel compelled to tell you guys what our direction is. We're not interested in ever creating the Frontier a paid mod. It's not fair. A lot of people who supported us may not be able to afford "paid" mods. Support can simply be leaving a nice comment, providing feedback, or sharing some of our content with people. I'd hate to leave those people hanging. On top of that, I also know a lot problems that would occur from the development side for big DLC type of mods. Like I said, support doesn't have to be given financially, words itself can go a long way. I do admit Creation Club seems a lot better handled, but again, I also feel like premium big mods which used to be free were the main driving forces of what made mods so popular. Now that you have to pay for top mods, well... it just doesn't feel good. Anyways, thanks for reading this and let's go back to the trailer. I already know some people are going to be disappointed by modern music choice but I felt pretty compelled to use until we get some of our custom tracks (which we use our own money for) finished. Last trailer I uploaded got taken down because I used a song from a different video game. It was not listed in the copyright folder in the Youtube library and also other people used that song many times for their own videos. Because of the Frontier's trailers get so popular, I picked a safe music choice which is popular and allowed to be used under the Youtube copyright music library. When I asked the community for potential music choices, a lot of them were good and some fit the 1950s vibe, but I just didn't feel comfortable using these songs. I just don't want another copyright strike fiasco. We did resolve our issue with Gaijin really quickly so kudos to them. But again, until we get our custom track music, I just felt like I had to use a modernish song. I hope you guys understand. So without further ado, here is our latest trailer. Really hope you guys enjoy! As always, ask any question you have. I'll try to answer it best as I can. Have a wonderful rest of the day! Still not the greatest music choice, but the mod looks fucking amazing. Really impressive what can be pushed out of Bethbryo with enough effort.
To be fair, looks a little bit too... action-y for bethbryo. Like, yeah, it's amazing how much can be done with it, but...

I don't think people want to watch npcs talking with dialogue choices. If you want you can see one side quest preview I talked about. Since people didn't seem to think there were other stuff besides action sequences. As you can see it's pretty detailed and expansive. I'm really glad you guys are still getting exposure and building hype. I was afraid when Fallout 4 came out you would get overshadowed and lose passion but you've only gained it. More interesting than anything Bethesda themselves presented at E3 thats for sure.
Come on, man. We told you last time it's always better not to use a song that was used in a famous trailer.
Looks fantastic man, I can't wait to play it!
God damn, this is really inspiring. Really impressed with what you've got so far, keep up the good work. This makes me want to learn how to use the geck editor.
I'm reinstalling NV just for this.
I'm reinstalling NV just for this.
It's the one thing that's been keeping New Vegas on my computer for the past year
This mod looks amazing. I like the warfare atmosphere that you have going on here.
Come on, man. We told you last time it's always better not to use a song that was used in a famous trailer.
It's not a simple as choosing a custom song or a 1950s song anymore. I just don't want to risk a copyright strike. In addition, we've been saving up for custom tracks with our own money. I mean we have about 20 custom tracks that we paid for but no custom trailer music. These things cost money. You can argue I can decent free tracks but I honestly prefer saving up to hire some of the people who made our custom music, they were great. And plus if you were referring to ME: A, it was just weird coincidence. I already started working and planning the trailer long before ME: A trailer was released. @everyone else, thanks guys! We've been working real hard to make it the best and the most fun mod possible! Thank you for the support!
