I find it remarkable that a country would willingly leave their citizens in danger for fear of being called racist. I don't mind striking, but they're literally burning tires, blocking the roads and shit. Anyhow my point is, the authorities aren't inactive because of the fear of being called racist. It's due to a lot of factors, but it's certainly easier and suits the far-right narrative better to the police and the government cowards.
