Soon, police vehicles reappeared, including from the St. Louis County Police Department, which had taken control of the investigation. Several officers emerged with dogs. What happened next, according to several sources, was emblematic of what has inflamed the city of Ferguson, Missouri, ever since the unarmed 18-year-old was gunned down: An officer on the street let the dog he was controlling urinate on the memorial site.
what the actual fuck
Is it possible for the state to just fire an entire police force and reinstate an entirely new force? If so, can they do that? Right now?
Be warned, upon further research, the source of this incident is purely accusatory from a witness. Take it with a grain of salt.

i understand what you're getting at but that's going to cause a lot more problems than it'll solve

Why not just hold police officers accountable for their actions instead of this stupid "above-the-law because we're cop buddies" bullshit?
This is the man who tried to rob a store then got arrested for holding up traffic by walking through a busy road? If so, why is this in the news? If not, rate me dumb.
I mean really, he was stupid enough for what he did, why does he deserve this kind of attention?
I'm opposed to roadside memorials in general, so no outrage from me. Bury your loved one, then place your flowers, cards, and whatever else at their grave. That's not enough for some people though, they have to make sure they get in everyone's face with it.

ow the edge
Edgy has nothing to do with it. It looks like shit. I know because there was one on a corner a couple of blocks near where I used to live. Some idiot killed himself drunk driving in that intersection and his family or friends created a memorial there. Everyone driving on that street had to look at that crap every day. After a while it looks like a pile of garbage but no one wants to be the bad guy and remove it. So it just degrades and degrades till finally someone does us all a favor. Sure at first the people who made it take care of it, but that doesn't last long.
