So there was a bomb threat at my school... - General

[IMG]http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/1348/bomb.png[/IMG] When I went to my classroom today, I noticed there was no one there except for one person, it was kind of creepy because usually the classroom is filled by then. Moments later the headmaster came in to the classroom and asked me if I saw anything unusual the day before. I said that I didn't see anything, then he explained further that there was a bomb threat written on the blackboard in my classroom. It said: "Jeg skal bombe Akademiet fredag klokka 12" which translates to "I am going to bomb Akademiet Friday at 12 PM" (Akademiet is the name of my school). The police have already been here, and the atmosphere is kind of weird right now. I personally think it's a stupid student who wrote it to be funny, though since the person wrote down the date and time I am not completely sure what to think. Also, the school might have to be evacuated on Friday. (Unless they figure out that it was all a hoax) I will update this thread when I get more information. Edit: Turned out this whole thing was a joke! Not really surprised either...

I know a guy who did this once to get a week off school. They closed it down and seached for it, but when they didnt find it they still kept it closed for a day.

[/QUOTE] That is not at all usual in nordic countries, we also don't use metal detectors, guards or stuff like that I heard being used in USA etc. I wouldn't like to go to a school knowing that my every move is being watched trough fucking cameras. This is usually no problem because I have never heard of shankings or any kinds of acts of violence happening in public schools.

I remember when that happened at my school, Was away that day but my mates told me there was sniffer dogs and stuff.

Someone did this last year to get out of a test. He stayed on the phone for like 20 minutes and they traced the call back to a public phone. He got BUSTED

Last time we had a bomb threat, we had dozens of Marines come, than more with around 7 snipers at the roof of our school, military Humvees, EODs, etc etc. Shit was intense. [editline]24th November 2010[/editline] But that was because I go to a DoDEA school.

I had a bomb threat once. We all had to stand outside for a few hours in lines by homeroom. We all thought it was a hoax (and it was), but that didn't stop us from freaking out when a transformer blew (a tree branch fell on it).
