One man spent 4 years animating a short from the POV of Imperial pilots in Star Wars using style of 80s Japanese animation
The animation apparently is a nod to the 1994 Tie Fighter game. While not having played the game myself, I think all the details that went into the internal of the cockpit and machinery are absolutely amazing.
Not to mention the great artstyle and remarkable animation
