[release]Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World film is based off the popular nautical fiction 'Aubrey-Maturin Series' by Patrick O'Brian. The story encompasses one of the many adventures taken by Master and Commander Jack Aubrey and his friend and the Ship Surgeon, Stephen Maturin. Given orders to take down a French Frigate that has Jack's H.M.S. Surprise outmanned and outgunned, Aubrey and the viewer are taken through an explosive voyage in where Jack faces a doubtful crew, and is torn between Duty and Friendship.[/release]

Definitely one of my most favorite movies of all time. We need more like it, beautifully handcrafted sets and such detail in every little thing lend a lot to the film's greatness.
