I got shit last time i asked in a thread. But dude. What is this?
A video of some guy masturbating near a microphone.

Man, this guy sure is full of himself.
The first two episodes were alright, the rest turned into bizarre attack videos in which the guy came off as a righteous cunt
The first two episodes were alright, the rest turned into bizarre attack videos in which the guy came off as a righteous cunt
That's all of this guy's videos.
The video is just a recap of everything he's already said with only a few new things sprinkled in. If you look up TGWTG in ED, or just various /tv/ threads, you can already get a gist of everything from his series without his constant ramblings.
As I've said before, I generally enjoyed his Internet Insanity videos because I do think it's funny and interesting to see how far the rabbit hole goes. I even offered to help write a new song specifically for that series. I unsubscribed when his newest Internet Insanity involved him joining a chatroom and screaming at people in it, and before that this mini-series was becoming harder and harder to watch. He used to be able to more fairly explain a story of gradually increasing craziness without being so self-righteous about it. It was just painful to listen to. I think his content used to be more focused on making an actual argument and the actual content itself, whereas now it's far more focused on his comedy routine, which isn't really what compelled me in the first place. If he spoke at length about something, it used to be for a reason, and now it's just to talk. And the content itself is clouded and obfuscated in that routine, leading me to just want the source material itself instead of his commentary.
This guy was originally the internet aristocrat wasn't he?
This guy was originally the internet aristocrat wasn't he?
Also known as gamesgoodmebad and a number of usernames. He's been doing stuff for nearly a decade.
I haven't been aware of this series and 7 hour long episodes is a lot to watch. What is he trying to explore/get across here? That's a severe lack of quality.
I haven't been aware of this series and 7 hour long episodes is a lot to watch. What is he trying to explore/get across here?
This series was supposed to explore the failures of everybody at TGWTG. Originally it seemed like he was trying to do so because each person served as an example of how not to become an internet celebrity. 1. Doug ran from what made him successful because he didn't want to become typecast. It ended up alienating his audience despite the fact that he was doing what made him happy. It also parallels with quitting his job to become TGWTG - animating got him paid, but TGWTG made him happy. 2. SpoonyOne was reckless, affecting the reputation of others at TGWTG before ultimately being told to leave. He lost a lot of support from creators that way, but he still had his fans. He asked for money to do a movie through Patreon which was successful, but he stopped updating the Patreon and stopped working on the movie. All of his fans basically evaporated and he spends a lot of his time doing unedited streams, drinking, and banning ex-fans. 3. Linkara's internet history was basically available for everyone to examine, and that means all of his fetishes which included the green M&M and other stuff. It kept coming back to haunt him. After that is where it really became uninteresting and unbearable to watch for me, so I stopped.

I mean yeah all that stuff was public but it felt so gross.

"Look at this weirdo and laugh at him!" It's with that video that this schmuck went off the rails. [editline]2nd November 2017[/editline] This series had potential to be different than his usual tripe but unfortunately he went back to his garbage ways and produced this travesty of a series.

I'm saying that's what I imagine his intentions are. The execution was bad and there's an obvious veil over intentions, here.

I think if he had any "intentions", then they were in the first two episodes of this series, before he fell off the wagon. And those "intentions" were "I intend to not be my usual self, which is to say, I intend to not be an insufferable asshat." I think the rest of this series is just Metokur being Metokur, no deception involved: an insufferable asshat.
Also, can he not afford a microphone that makes him not sound like he's speaking into a 2007 era phone?
