Cops: I wonder why people hate us, we help :downs:
No JUSTICE!
wow
free america
that's really fucked up
that cop at 2:04 is so nonchalant it's awesome
[editline]2nd October 2011[/editline]
oh and yea this is fucked
Obviously black people are so dangerous that they needed to bring in 20 riot cops :downs:
Shit is completely wrong. What is he doing that can get him arrested, and what the is the point of the riot gear?
It's shit like this that makes me angry.
But seriously, it's astounding how they arrested someone for doing something completely within their rights. Unless there's a second part to the story that we don't know about....

there isn't, i'm going to post the news article about this now. it's really fucked up.
Alright cool there goes another one of our privileges that the American government pretends are rights
Seeing how it was New Brunswick I thought it would end up as everybody getting arrested.
I don't see anything wrong with this to be honest. They only arrested one person, and he was using a megaphone in a residential area, disturbing the peace.
Not saying him protesting is a bad thing, it all just seems wrong place, wrong time.
It's not American police, it's Canadian...

if they don't protest in public then it isn't protesting
Fuck the police no justice no peace

Not sure if sarcasm.

Good point.
I love how there's a couple people protesting, and then out of nowhere like twenty cops in riot gear just nonchalantly stroll up to them and arrest them. It was just so smooth.

This is how it starts. :v:

I feel like its in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
It's all to do with technicalities of the law. Someone probably called in and said Oh we got a huge group of people, they're yelling and one of them is shouting into a megaphone.
So they cops show up in riot gear and arrest the guy with the megaphone for disturbing the peace.
Big deal, the guy probably spent 30 minutes in a detention cell and was let out, unless he had a warrant out for his arrest
You have the right to protest, but not disturb the peace... Just like you have the right to protest equal rights and to let women walk topless like men, and expose your tits, but you can get arrested for indecent exposure... Of course that woman was found not guilty because she was doing it in protest. Same thing here, this guy won't see any jail time or anything

It is, Canada doesn't use black and white cop cars. Nor do they have black people, or shitty looking neighborhoods.
Those protesters were all calm until the police showed up and arrested that guy for no real reason.

Freedom of speech needs to come first. Who decides where the line is drawn? Too many innocent people are being arrested. And people like you who say "big deal" are the people who let them get away with this shit. They had NO right at all to touch him. I would understand if a few cops showed up to keep things under control, but this was a COMPLETELY peaceful protest. The police are just abusing there power and they think that nobody can tell them not to.

so we are arresting peaceful protesters not for no reason
fucking nice, now lets strip everyone of their basic human rights as well, BUT, let the WBC protest all they want
also, very stereotypical "Oh no they didn't" black voice in the very beginning, not that theirs anything wrong, caught be by surprise is all
Its illegal for the fact he arrested him under no grounds and when he asked. "Why am I being detained?" The officer is legaly obliged to tell him why.
This is so stupid

New Brunswick, New Jersey. I live about 15-20 min from there. It's a pretty shitty place too.

A loud truck goes by to deliver to a company and they apparently aren't disturbing the peace are they?
Lol if it was NB in Canada everyone would have a funny accent and the mounties would politely ask the man to leave.
