Airplane! (1980) or Airplane 2 - The Sequel (1982)?
Old film and nice movie. Laugh hahaha
Surely this can't be serioues!?
airplane one was the greatest.
Original.
Airplane 2 was the same core characters, the same stupid jokes, and the same stupid shit, but with a moronic plotline.
it's true.
i like moron's movie, it's turns out moron movie infecting moron people.
That's equal to 1moron movie + 1moron people = 1moron movie + 1moron people.
Airplane 2 was basically all the same jokes rehashed in a slightly different setting. Any scenes that weren't gags transferred from the first movie were just the exact footage of the first movie copied over because a flashback or some shit was happening.
both
Airplane 2 just go to the space, thats not airplane, thats shuttle.
Airplane! was funnier, but William Shatner's cameo in Airplane! The Sequel was funny as hell
Airplane 2 is too caught up in shit.
It tries to be too relevant to the decade it was released and too similar to the previous film, we end up with a mess.
The first one, it is or was hilarious.
"Airplane!" hands down, but Airplane 2 did have some memorable quotes:
"Is that your dog, son?"
"Yes! His name is scraps, and he's coming to the moon with us!"
"Sorry, but there are no dogs allowed on the shuttle. I'm afraid Scraps will have to be shot."
The first one is a lot better IMO.
No. 2 was pretty good though, only a bit more..fucked up.

"...and don't call me Shirley!"
2 wasn't made by the zucker bros though

"Surely, you can't be serious,"
"I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"
Full talks

Yeah, his rant about blinking lights was pretty funny and obviously a reference to the original Star Trek.

I honestly found Airplane 2 enjoyable.
The first airplane! had me in tears of laughter.
With movies made with the zucker bros you can watch them like 5 times and you'll notice new stuff every time.
So much visual humor hidden everywhere. Just the scene where they go get the captain or whatever and he's dressing up, he just walks out of the mirror.
Both.
I think the first one was slightly better mostly for "Don't call me Shirley".
Just Leslie in general can make a shitty movie fun.
The first one. One of the best comedies I've ever watched.

Look at Scary Movie 3...
"The hospital...? What is it?"
"Its a big building with patients in it. But that's not important right now."
I think something is wrong with this poll.
Airplane! is the funniest movie ever in my mind, the sequel had its moments though. Like the "Danger 'Vacuum' Do not open" sign, that when he opened it a vacuum flew out and attacked him
Another little point of discussion, aside from the poll:
Airplane or Top Secret?

I think some people voted for both. Only rational explanation for why this poll equals 128.78%.
Airplane should never have had a sequel.

Maybe there was a sex scene on Airplane! with a balloon auto-pilot.
Lol
