The next CS:GO update

that was great
TF2: Global Offensive, pretty much what i thought about this update
I actually liked the new update. Loads of balance and UI changes, new maps, and more incentive to play the actual game to get items is something that makes me happy.
Its not bad at all though.
And gotta keep in mind that people also were like this when CS:GO skins first were introduced I believe.

I'll be honest, if they added Taunts in CSGO I would most definitely buy one.

TBH I don't think it's bad per-say I just like poking fun, although the whole "Stat-Clock" thing is pushing it considering TF2 already had "Stranges". The least they could have done is provide an upgrade kit to convert Stranges into Stat-clocks imho.
I hate how skins become such serious business. The fact people play a game just for skins/items just says to me the game must be pretty shit if that's the only thing pulling people in. I hate them in CSGO mainly due to the fact that skin betting is all people care about; it's no longer about the game at hand, people are either mad they lost their skins or happy they got more. Not to mention the DDoS problems.

It's not that bad. It's not like you go in a comp game and all your teammates is wacking off to eachothers skins or whatever

That or you just play competetive and no one even talks about skins?
In a way I find this extra hilarious because the Orange Box update for CS:S had people bitching the game was becoming TF2.
Now TF2 is becoming CS:GO, it's like the universe inverted the bitching right back onto it.

Even in casual, deathmatch and arms race servers here no-one cares about skins. The most they ever get mentioned is one guy spamming "HEY EVERYONE WANNA TRADE SKINS???" while sitting in spawn being useless until he gets kicked, and in almost 150 hours of playing I've only seen that happen maybe 3 times.

Seriously this. No one gives a shit about skins in the actual game. All the hype is mostly outside it.
The contract system makes playing pretty motivating and it'd be pretty good to have as an alternate form of drop system.
