I honestly don't see the issue here. These guys appear to enjoy what they're doing, and I honestly doubt it affects anyone else's life (from what we've seen) so I'd be able to say it's just a harmless hobby that they enjoy.

The guy with the katana may be a bit geeky but he looks nice and as everyone else said he has a hobby. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Well I have a katana as well. Mine has a fancier hilt/pommel. His blade looks way sharper though.

$109? it's not exactly authentic then. I was searching for one for a display setup that i have( i have a few scottish claymores and a couple broadswords) Authentic ones are usually $1000-$5000.
It doesn't look like an authentic handmade one but still a pretty neat buy.
