Stuart Hughes, the British jeweler known for his expensive remakes of popular gadgets, is at it again, this time with a diamond-clad iPhone 4 with a price tag of £5 million, or roughly $8 million.
The handmade bezel contains approximately 500 individual flawless diamonds that total more than 100 carats; there’s 53 additional diamonds in the back, and the main navigation button is made of platinum, holding a single cut 7.4 carat pink diamond.

Only two of these will ever be made, so don’t worry: if you buy one, the chances of bumping into someone who has the exact same phone at a party are quite slim.
It would suck to drop it...
Oh god that's just.. just.. beautiful.
The most literal example I have ever seen of a turd covered in diamonds.
The iPhone 4 is now diamonds.

What a fucking waste of diamonds :smithicide:
Mind you I don't really see why diamonds are so awesome, just a shiny stone.

They are the hardest matter known to men, they are preety rare and expensive
Yeah but most folk only care cause they're shiny, the scientific applications of diamonds are pretty interesting but everyone just goes googly eyed and goes "PURTY SHINY ROCK GET ME ONE"
I like the iPhone and don't understand the hate it gets. I'm getting it soon.
what a waste of money
whoever spends that much on it is crazy
I wonder if putting all those diamonds on the antenna caused issues...
They are the hardest matter known to men, they are preety rare and expensive
You shouldn't use matter, matter could mean a molecule of Lead which is equally hard.
Wonder if you could make the screen diamond too.
An actually transparent diamond.

People don't like the iPhone because "HURR DURR MAED BY APPEL IT SUX".
People don't like the iPhone because it's an overpriced piece of garbage and you have to jailbreak one to do anything with it. I'm not even bandwagoning, I've used both an iPhone and a Droid.

But I hate Apple, and I like iPhones.

You do realize that also makes them them brittle though
It looks like you could make it out of plastic faux diamonds and sell it for 20 bucks.
They are the hardest matter known to men, they are preety rare and expensive
and we use them for jewelry.

Get the samsung captivate, cheaper and it has a Super AMOLED display, with 16gb of internal memory and support for sd chips with a 1ghz hummingbird processor and 512mb of ram, plus android so yeah im getting that instead of the shitty overpriced iphone.
It costs 100,000$ to touch this phone for 12 seconds.
Seems dumb to put diamonds on a thing that's probably just going to get outdated in a few months.
Instead of diamondizing something so insignificant as a phone I would instead PLATE A DRILL WITH ROUGH DIAMONDS. Then use the left overs to fashion a broadsword with a DIAMOND BLADE FUCK YEAH.

Yea but they shatter like glass.
