Most reasonable punishment of the year award goes to... This lady. Or her judge, I guess.
That's a strangely very reasonable quantum of punishment if I ever saw one. If that sort of thing happened out here, it'd be a couple of years in the slammer.
Knowing how our police handle animal cruelty, she'll have more dogs within a year.

Not being able to pay for treatment, not being able to pay for food, not being able to pay to have them put down.
she was probably trying to avoid solving a problem by just locking them in the shed and hoping they dissapear.
