Death toll in Gaza passes 200 from latest conflict.

I'm not seeing a military victory for Palestine possible at this moment. It's either going to end with a tenuous truce or Israel will just annex palestine.

Regardless of the outcome, hundreds more will pointlessly die before we get anywhere.

I see what you mean, but I think he meant that even if/when Palestine is defeated, insurgents and resistant to Israel will always pop up.

Until either the Jews or the Muslims in the area are all dead and gone.

Even if Hamas lays down it's weapons, they will start picking every single Hamas member one by one with bombs and assassinations.
