It was a great and funny show I thought, I know haters gunna hate, but still, how cud people even complain about it? Whoever did must not have a sense of humor obviously. But if anyone knows the actual reason they canceled it, please let me know!
Low ratings.

Also, they attempted to sell the show to different networks but none accepted it because they were "seriously undermining the artistic integrity of the series."

Oh Scientology, you and your TV shows...
As well all know, all good shows will either get canceled early, or go on for so long as it loses its originality and touch and becomes a franchise zombie.

Sadly that's almost always true. The only show that I can think of that doesn't fit that rule is South Park.
I'd rather see My Name is Earl go too soon than go the way of The Simpsons and Spongebob.
I love my name is Earl and It still comes on other channels in my area.

I thought Seinfeld and Malcolm in the Middle had pretty consistent runs too, but for the most part that statement is true.
and maybe King of the Hill.
It ended with a fucking "To be continued'. WHYYYYY

wow....
i loves this show at the beginning. then it, like... got bad. i don't know. it lost it's charm, and the story plots just weren't so good. low ratings, too. i mean, it was a respectable show. just, it wasn't a memorable classic that will live on forever. it just wasn't too great.
?
The show was cancelled in mid season mid. The last episode was earl trying to find out who Dodge's father was. It ended with a TO BE CONTINUED.... but was never TO BE CONTINUED.
And i doubt it ever will, Lee is busy with a new show, Memphis beat, and is busy with his skateboarding company.

Made my day.
Chuck is probably next.
It's always on the verge of cancellation but the fanbase has saved it two times already.
Wonder how long they can keep it up?
It still comes on for me on Comedy Network. Canada btw.

KOTH aged very, very well. The later episodes were almost better in my opinion.
Great shit get's canceled early.
Evidence: Firefly, Clone High (also a cliff hanger ending) and Arrested Development

This is unrelated but:
I can't be the only person on Facepunch that thinks Chuck is awful, am I?

I certainly hope you are.
Unfortunate too, since you have an avatar featuring one of my celebrity crushes.
Isn't My name is Earl on TBS?

I watched an episode of it and the acting seemed sub-par to me, but what really bothered me was the camera angles. Bad.
Not that I hold anything against you for liking it, I just personally don't.
And she's one of mine too. :3:
I just love how over the top it is.
Reminds me a little of True Blood in that regard.
I really have fun watching it.
Also, I have no idea at all what you mean by... the camera angles.
They seem the same as any other show I've watched.
Earl's actor being a scientoligist had no negative impact on the show whatsoever.
Seriously, /b/ just trolled Scientology and made them look bad for the lulz until moralfags came along and tried to put some sort of meaning to it to feel special about their worthless lives.

Well Chuck being saved was the first time I've heard of an internet petition working. Subway also helped too. The show's getting more popular, and I think it might be able to last a couple more seasons.
What is the average number of seasons for a show to last? Isn't it like 6 to 8? I'm hoping Chuck can make it to 6. It's going to have to end eventually. I'm kinda hoping they have a set finale in a few seasons rather than being canceled unexpectedly. It'd suck if the show had another cliffhanger finale like Season 2, complete with a "To be continued," and got canceled. I'm glad it got saved. Though the way the show likes cliffhangers, I'm sure when the show does end, purposely or not, it's going to be some huge cliffhanger that drives us insane. The thing about Chuck though is that it's so good you can watch the same episode a million times without getting bored. I don't know very many shows that are like that.
I've never been a big fan of My name is Earl, but I understand how you feel with a show you love being canceled.
I found My Name Is Earl to be stupid at first, but it kind of grew on me as time went on. It's a pity that it got canceled.
I really hate Chuck. It's just all-around dumb.
I don't know, but I've been watching Season 1 and 2, and I've been wondering about that too
