A little plot:
A tale told over four seasons, starting in autumn when Juno, a 16-year-old high-school junior in Minnesota, discovers she's pregnant after one event in a chair with her best friend, Bleeker. In the waiting room of an abortion clinic, the quirky and whip-sharp Juno decides to give birth and to place the child with an adoptive couple. She finds one in the PennySaver personals, contacts them, tells her dad and step-mother, and carries on with school. The chosen parents, upscale yuppies (one of whom is cool and laid back, the other meticulous and uptight), meet Juno, sign papers, and the year unfolds. Will Juno's plan work, can she improvise, and what about Bleeker?
IMO Juno is a pretty good and funny film. I enjoyed it, found it well written, acting is superb (especially by Page) and everything else is very like-able! (Except for Jennifer Garner, I hate her. Lots.) My favorite thing still has got to be the Juno character. I haven't seen a funnier and more down-to-earth character for I don't know how long..I recommend this one, a must see.
I remember watching this on the bus when we went on a band trip a couple years ago. I can't remember a lot of the movie, but I do remember liking it. Maybe I should pick it up and watch it again.
watching this movie with my mom and 11 year old sister was one of the worst choices i've ever made.
Did you happen to make this thread because it was on the USA network last night? If you didn't, what a coincidence, 'cause I just watched it. Anyway, good movie.
Great movie! Watched it last week for the first time, I just love her so much.
It's a really good film, enjoyed watching it, but not with my Mum who kept telling me about the negatives of teenage pregnancy.
I was going to make this thread earlier today, But forgot anyway i only just seen it last night. It's a good movie.
Great movie. Michael Cera is awesome.
It's a really good film, enjoyed watching it, but not with my Mum who kept telling me about the negatives of teenage pregnancy.
Parents tend to kill movies like this. They should really just sit back and enjoy the movie.
I can't stand this movie. Just rubbed me the wrong way.
I watched this with my family, not a single bad thing from them, so I am fine with this kind of movie with my family. Great move.
watching this movie with my mom and 11 year old sister was one of the worst choices i've ever made.
I've done worse. Clerks 2 with my mom.
"discovers she's pregnant after one event in a chair with her best friend, Bleeker."
What the heck happened in that chair?!
Oh look, it's that guy who plays the same fucking awkward nerd in every movie he stars in.
This movie was not very funny but it was still good.
I can't stand either of the actors, so it's safe to say I do not enjoy this. Michael Cera just plays the same god damn character in every single movie. Awkward nerdy guy with a boyish charm that gets the girl in the end of the movie.

I usually understand the subtleties and sweeteness in comedies like this, but I found Juno plain. Not boring (although I wouldn't watch it again), just a bit too sweet perhaps.
Did you happen to make this thread because it was on the USA network last night?
I was wondering the same thing, lol I liked the movie the first time I saw, but I couldn't stomach the little bit of it I watched last night.
I can't stand this movie. Just rubbed me the wrong way.
This.
Insanely overrated movie.
is this the one where michael cera plays a socially awkward teenger? OH WAIT
Did you happen to make this thread because it was on the USA network last night? If you didn't, what a coincidence, 'cause I just watched it. Anyway, good movie.
Haha, really? It was on here in Australia about, a month ago. :/ What a good time to bring it up, after watching a re-run of it. But, agreed, it's a good movie.
ellen page is fucking hot. even when shes preggers
This is one of the few movies I can't stand watching. I didn't like the main character from the start, and it just got worse as the movie progressed.
this was a cute movie
I do enjoy this film, Michael Cera is lucky
This film was awesome, i especially liked the cameo from Cut Chemist who was, suprisingly, a chemistry teacher in the film. [editline]06:13PM[/editline] In case you don't remember him.
