WOODY HARRELSON: APE RACIST
1:45, apes are helping a well equiped human army fight another human army hmm
This series is like how reboots should be.
I'm really surprised that they manged to complete a trilogy out of a reboot.
Apes are evil.
I have no idea how the war will turn out. Looking forward to seeing who wins.

Does anyone else find it weird that no one in these films acknowledges that Humans are apes too?
So where the other few billion humans at
I'm really surprised that they manged to complete a trilogy out of a reboot.
why? Rise and Dawn are both really good movies
Said it time and time again, this Apes series thus far has been brilliant. The Trailer was great, i just hope the film manages to live up to my expectations.
why? Rise and Dawn are both really good movies
They were nice as movies in general, and this one is probably going to be a fun movie too, but I personally just hate films where one side of a conflict intentionally made infinitely dumb just to not finish the conflict in the first five minutes of the film. This was the case with Avatar, and this is the case here. Fully equipped and trained soldiers against monkeys with guns who don't even know how to shoot precisely? Humans stand no chance.
Are the other movies (the new ones) worth watching?
Are the other movies (the new ones) worth watching?
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was REALLY good. I don't remember Rise of the Planet of the Apes that well.

It was more a case of numbers and sheer volume of fire that won the fight for them than tactics / skill, they were also up against what was essentially armed civilians, who completely underestimated their attackers, something that every human will do the first time they encounter the apes for themselves, including a millitary force just because they won't beleive it. We know very little of 3 as it stands, we don't know how long after the 2nd this takes place. But Ceasar knows a millitary force is coming, it's likely they've been training and planning a trap for an attacker. Remember this is the remenants of the millitary of the human race, fighting with whats left against an enemy it's never encoutnered before, in a world where the apes have the upper hand. Without all our technology and intelligence to set us apart, it's not a foregone conclusion. Ignoring the helicopter gunship because those are never used correctly in films full stop. That said, who's to say that's a human pilot when you take into account the world being set up. (and millitary not using millitary tactics beyond, all out wave assault because that shit looks cool)
Are the other movies (the new ones) worth watching?
I went to see rotpota expecting it to suck. Instead, I got a very well-made rebooting prequel, and an equally well-made sequel with dotpota (as well as the best theater experience of my life that I cannot say here).
1:45, apes are helping a well equiped human army fight another human army hmm
I don't think they're that well equipped
1:45, apes are helping a well equiped human army fight another human army hmm
battle for the planet of the apes was the same this doesn't have to take the same timeline as the original film just like battle didn't
Rise was an awesome movie, Dawn was infinitely better. Let's hope War continues the trend by being even better yet.
Fully equipped and trained soldiers against monkeys with guns who don't even know how to shoot precisely? I think highly agile apes can take down humans. [editline]9th December 2016[/editline]
I have no idea how the war will turn out.
british troops in a land they don't know well, suffering quick hit-and-run assault night and day, whereas this looks to be a big open-field battle.
Well there's also forests where you have apes in trees. And even in a field battle, apes are generally pretty tough and fast.
Well there's also forests where you have apes in trees. And even in a field battle, apes are generally pretty tough and fast.
so then that confirms this new apes trilogy is a vietnam allegory?
I get the allegory. But fuck's sake a Helicopter could just stay away from Small Arms fire and annihilate hundreds of them.
I'm really surprised that they manged to complete a trilogy out of a reboot.
And so far they are all legitimately great, not just adequate enough to make it to a complete trilogy.

Both also had quite a bit of external help.

The Americans had the same amount of casualties as the British. majority of both sides was due to disease. The Boston and Quebec campaigns were disasters and Washington was thrown out of New York. Eventually the French and Spanish declared war officially joining the Americans. Before then the French were helping covertly.
