To your east is the rising sun. to the Northeast is Neptune, off in the distance yet somehow visible. To the east also appears to be a green object, possibly one of your cactus brethren. What do you do?

Challenge the other cactus to a duel

Ask the cactus for some water.

flex your cactus muscles and intimidate the other cactus

Shake your larger arm angrily at the sun.

The storm was actually a portal, bringing you to a place called The Neptidotae. To your left is a massive fountain of Dr Pepper, the godly soda. To your right is a series of neon-colored buildings, a sign that says "L1". Above you is a multicolored slab of text floating midair that says "THE NEPTIDOTAE." Hmm.... Behind you is an engraving in the ground that says "Kaktos." What could that mean? Keep on running until you find a building to hide in.

Finish off the cactus and use his body as armor.

Hollow out the hands into usable gloves

Finish him off with a THUNDER PUNCH! Failing that, just go Needlegun on his ass.
