Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded developer Interceptor Entertainment has teased an upcoming action RPG entry in the series, Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction. A now-offline teaser site AllOutofGum.com included a countdown timer set to end on 25th February and artwork showing an "Original Kick-Ass" flavour of bubblegum, the favourite chewing product of Duke.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-02-03-duke-nukem-mass-destruction-teased-for-pc-ps4
Will it take 12 years again? I'm kidding...Jesus...
Will it take 12 years again?
Interceptor never worked on Duke Nukem forever.
hopefully after, i'm assuming, all the writers of duke forever were hanged, someone with some brains can write this one.
Interceptor never worked on Duke Nukem forever.
They made the Rise of The Triad (2013 Remake) and handled a few Duke Nukem games not only on IOS but on the PC too.
Will it take 12 years again?
Actually, it was about 15 years Edit; For the one rating disagree; Development was first announced (meaning, not started on, but first publicly announced) in April 1997. The game officially released worldwide on June 10th, 2011. That is 14 years, one month, and 26 days (assuming announced mid April.) 14 and a half years would be a better estimate, since a company most likely wouldnt say they are developing something until theyve got enough done to actually say 'its on'
25th February is my birthday, sweeet.
It may not be Reloaded after the shitstorm that happened involving that, but I wouldn't mind seeing a good Duke Nukem game and these guys aren't half-bad at all.
honestly i don't think it's even possible for duke nukem to be entertaining anymore like the humor involved is just so fucking old and repetitive now, there's no development that's possible that "america fuck yeah" was just so cringey maybe the gameplay can be good but i don't think that the humor or content will ever be funny again

I think we'll get a good game, these guys have impressed me thus far.

It's not perfect still, and I never did beat it yet because the level before the last felt like I was completely stuck in progress somehow, but it was pretty fun besides the jumping puzzle horseshit.
Fuck yeah, always bet on Duke to make it another game and keep livin'!
I like the duke nukem character, breaking the fourth wall 24/7 and always being a bad ass. sometimes games should just be fun, not super serious, and i like duke nukem's character for that since he didn't evolve into super serious like most 90s game franchises that continued to 2010+ i totally welcome a GOOD duke nukem game
The website is offline. If this is legit, why is the website offline?
The website is offline. If this is legit, why is the website offline?
It is online for me http://www.alloutofgum.com/
as in making duke a grim badass action hero instead of a parody of one
The website is offline. If this is legit, why is the website offline?
It couldn't handle it
I hope it won't be another glitchfest at launch. And I don't have high hopes for the one-liners, seeing how bad they were in ROTT. But the gameplay could turn out good.
i'm sorry, duke nukem as a character is simply irrelevant and worn out at this point
i'm sorry, duke nukem as a character is simply irrelevant and worn out at this point
i want to see a game like duke nukem where you play as an actual awkward incompetent nerd instead of a nerd power fantasy. like you're thrust into a world and given some kind of powers to compensate but you're still a loser and all your one-liners are stuttered and cringeworthy
That clip was cringey as fuck.
i'm sorry, duke nukem as a character is simply irrelevant and worn out at this point
Actually with today's SJW crowd and the tumblrtards I'd say he's more relevant then ever.

Maybe they'll do the same sort of thing with Duke.
It is online for me http://www.alloutofgum.com/
eww spearmint, no thanks, will not buy now....

Wow that was cringy as all hell. Like seriously, a Team America joke? That shit was played out years ago.
Wow that was cringy as all hell. Like seriously, a Team America joke? That shit was played out years ago.
Well the game was in development for fifteen years y'know.
The problem with Duke Nukem now is that he's just a character spewing quotes from other stuff. The internet pretty much does that now. And the big dumb action thing that Duke does kinda only worked with 90's movies and games.
Wow that was cringy as all hell. Like seriously, a Team America joke? That shit was played out years ago.
The build of the game that eventually made it through to release WAS from around the 2007-2008 period. Which explains why most of the jokes were outdated and why the gameplay was so antiquated - relatively speaking. Not only is he a walking embodiment of 90's views/jokes, but he's basically a parody of himself at that point, trying to quote and repeat earlier success while horribly adapting to the times.
Well the game was in development for fifteen years y'know.
I should know, I own the fuckin thing.
