VERY rough translation using google translate + some tuning Complete stock PC version Assassin's Creed III stolen Friday, November 16, 2012 - 09:47 | Reageer! This week, criminals have raided a truck with the entire Benelux PC inventory of Assassin's Creed III which was sent to retail. The PC version of Assassin's Creed III is planned for November 30 (mistake in the article). In an email, the issuer can be expected that the planned release date is not compromised. The publisher is busy producing new stock and expects soon to be able to deliver. Ubisoft reports the police have turned. According to the company, the police are actively looking for the stolen stock. In order to isolate the stolen cargo, there was a different EAN code used for the new stock. It also includes the new inlay invisible codes. The codes of the stolen stock have been issued to retailers. Ubisoft advises retail to stock these EAN codes. Players of a stolen PC edition of Assassin's Creed III may also be detected through the online activation code. These must be entered before the game is ready to play. Because of the theft, the Join Or Die special editions for PC cannot be received. This version of Assassin's Creed III contains content that Ubisoft can no longer obtain.
This version of Assassin's Creed III contains content that Ubisoft can no longer obtain.
So not only are you not getting your pre-ordered JoD edition but you also can't get any of the content? Ow.
So not only are you not getting your pre-ordered JoD edition but you also can't get any of the content? Ow.
I wouldn't trust the article with that part for now, they even got the release date wrong.
Guess it will be leaked online soon then.
I blame the British.
I'm not familiar with the content of Assasins Creed III's special edition but most special editions of games come with physical content (usually unique merchandise) something of which they naturally may not be able to replace.
damned redcoats

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this fancy schmancy physical code DLC stuff that comes for handing out extra dosh for the game.
That's what you get when you mess with the Empire. The Empire Strikes Back!
What I really don't want to see is people buying the stolen copies without knowing and getting banned or something...
What I really don't want to see is people buying the stolen copies without knowing and getting banned or something...
That depends. We don't know what the thieves are going to do with the copies, but I would assume they're going to try to sell them online or something for a smaller price.
Better come to warez already, I can't wait another week for my preordered Freedom Edition!
Ubisoft can no longer obtain the content within their own games? What? Is digital content a finite resource or something?
physical DLC
what
[t]http://s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/pub/large/ac3_join_or_die_edition.jpg[/t] The medallion and notebook
So you can download paper and metal now? Awesome!
what
Bah, sorry, I misworded it. I meant stuff that should be in the game in the first place but only special people who give out extra money for special editions of the game get them. It's been argued over so many times I'm not even going to start.
What I really don't want to see is people buying the stolen copies without knowing and getting banned or something...
"hey dude you wanna buy this $100 value product for $30?" "sure!"
What I really don't want to see is people buying the stolen copies without knowing and getting banned or something...
Most people that invest the time to crack their consoles know not to go online with them.
Hasn't this happened a lot in Europe over the last few years? I know for sure that people keep raiding COD trucks.
