Russian security forces at Moscow's Domodedovo airport have arrested a man suspected of trying to hijack a plane.
Russian media report that the man behaved in a threatening way before the airliner landed. The flight originated in the North Caucasus.
All the passengers were freed safely after special forces disguised as doctors boarded the plane.
The arrested man is from the city of Mineralnye Vody in the North Caucasus, Russian news agency Tass said.
Airport spokeswoman Yelena Galanova said the man had told the captain he had "information valuable for the interior agencies".
"After the information was received, a decision was taken to taxi the plane... to an emergency apron of the airport," she said.
The image this creates in my head amuses me.
I guess he got a taste of his own medicine
Damn.
I really want to see a video of this.
So these people are like the TSA agents on US flights, I take it? They look like normal passengers, but carry guns to prevent hijackings.
The only people allowed to carry guns on planes in the states are US Marshals or 'Sky Marshals' I think, maybe police officers as well but only if they do a bunch of shit before hand

Yeah, I meant the Marshals.
that was actually a pretty good pun
The only problem is, there's very few of them doing it
I was under the impression that the special forces doctors boarded the plane after it had landed.

Yeah, they did. Apparently disguising as a medic does work from time to time.
Reports of a backflipping hatchet attack unconfirmed.
"MEDIC!!!!!"
*shing.....SHING*
SPINAL TAP!

Something like that.
Russian security forces do the coolest, most funny, outside the box style things to get the job done.

Thread should've ended here.
In Russia, doctors are actually special forces soldiers!
That was a pretty sick idea.

The doctors moonlight as a special forces Op.
Next Week: Plane Hijacker dropped out of airplane may have died.
"Doctor, Doctor, I'm hijacking a plane, and my trigger finger is all sore"
"Well, don't mean to jump the gun, but your ass is about to get glove'd"
Russia is pretty badass in my opinion.
I can just see this being some awesome yet funny movie scene.
Anyone here read Rainbow Six? Reminds me of the opening chapter.
In Soviet Russia, Doctors Kill You!
Spetsnaz?
Security Forces.
That's badass.
In Russia, silly MW style operations are reality.
Well, I guess that's that.
I guess a mister 'jack' wasn't ready to get 'hi'...
