You need an economic depression, a war or two happening recently, strong feelings of patriotism and nationalism and large numbers of politicians who do dirty dealings behind closed doors. If only we could find a country with the above, and a man with great oratory skills, who understands that that population understands emotion above reason, is a ruthless politician and possibly insane. But as far as I know, no such country exists.

I meant to refer to people who don't pursue education or jobs that can support them, instead being a drain on society. I feel like if those people were to do some of the things on this list (which we've established can be condensed to "acting logically"), they would be able to improve their situation.
