an 8-point lead for a Democrat in Alabama is [I]at least[/I] a +23 point swing based off the Cook Partisan Voting Index. that would be unthinkable if Moore was any other candidate, even with things as good as they are for Democrats

This is gonna be such an interesting election night.
There's so many factors that could push things [I]heavily[/I] in favor of either candidate. It almost feels like it could go any possible way and the result wouldn't be too surprising.
If Moore wins then Alabama will go from a close second in my "worst state in the union" list behind Florida to a definitive first.
The fact that a sizable portion of Alabama can say "I'd rather vote for a pedophile than a democrat" speaks volumes about the people living there.
