If you have not watched it, nor follow it, don't look at the spoiler tags. [sp]So basically if you've seen the finale you can go to thesimpsons.com and vote to either have Ned and Krabapple stay together, or not, which do you guys prefer? Here's the link for you just incase you can't find where to vote or are lazy: http://www.thesimpsons.com/nedna/[/sp]
Well, this is different. Don't recall The Simpsons doing this kinda thing before...
I'm not very surprise about that for some reason.
Eh, I haven't followed the yellow guys for 5 years. Kinda lame nowadays.
I think the last episode I watched was the 300th one, is it worth catching up at all?
I think the last episode I watched was the 300th one, is it worth catching up at all?
Not sure, I haven't The Simpsons in a long time.
What a gimmick :/ the simpsons used to be so brilliant
I hope it's also the series finale.
Remember that episode with the song "have no fears, we got stories for years"? They missed out a crucial word: INTERESTING
I find it funny that to actually change something in the show, they want the viewers to vote on it. I hate that, shows that go on for ages are so afraid of changing anything from the status-quo, bar kill off a character.
voted no btw because those two people have been characterised as tragically lonely for a long time and that's a formula that works
I hope it's also the series finale.
QFT. That'd be the most intelligent thing they can do, instead of constantly beating a dead horse that died in the '90s.
Remember that episode with the song "have no fears, we got stories for years"? They missed out a crucial word: INTERESTING
I remember that! The song itself was satire, "we got stories for years... like... marge becomes a robot" :v:
Last episode I watched was that American Idol one with that black chick.
What the hell? Ned and Krabappel? She's with Skinner :colbert:
I liked the episode where Marge gets a grey hair, then Bart, Lisa and Maggie all freak out when they realise they don't have a hairline.
is better to burn out than to fade away. mat cant get that IMO
Wasn't the show supposed to end when the movie came out?
Wasn't the show supposed to end when the movie came out?
It probably should have. The movie would have been a good swan song, it was great.
What the hell? Ned and Krabappel? She's with Skinner :colbert:
They broke up a long time ago
What the hell? Ned and Krabappel? She's with Skinner :colbert:
Yeah so? They have a threesome.

People actually still watch this show?
They should have ended the simpsons with the movie
The Movie was really good, it was like the older episodes, simple humour and characters we cared about.
I can't stand the new episodes, I just pretend that Fox cancelled the series around season 13/14 when the quality took a dive and OKed a shitty spinoff featuring all of the same characters.
Could not fucking enjoy Animation Domination at all, thanks to the fucking FOX Chicago their stupid ugly blond had to interrupt the shows with their forecast center crap, and kept on repeating the same sentences 4 times during one brief. The best part was when her mic was not even on. Her voice has a horrible sound bite from smoking all the damn time. Maybe when she was younger, that was bearable when she was NBC's problem, but now, a decade more later, she just is a used-up has been, not to mention Tammy sounds like a whore-able name, of course WFLD hires her to not only interrupt the Simpsons, but drag her ass out to Family Guy. Bobs Burgers, I may not have cared the interruption, but jeeze did she carried away. Also, considering the amount of traffic on this site, I hope the votes on the Simpson's website is not rigged by those who did not watch that episode, because I can not believe they actually are going to alter the next season, based on voting. Speaking of spinning off to other characters, do you really want to pair up Bart's teacher with Ned Flanders? This brings me back to the cliff hanger when we did not know Maggie shot Mr. Burns. I think there also was a sponsored contest from Nestle if you figure out correctly, you could win a shit load of money.
I stopped watching the Simpsons because it seems like for awhile now every episode has to feature some guest appearance and that's when it seemed like, to me at least, they were really running out of ideas.
It's a shame really. It used to be really good, but now it's not much better than American Dad or the likes.
The Simpsons is so fucking terrible now. The only good part of the Sunday animation lineup is Bob's Burgers.
