Holy shit.
Wooo and now VicRoads will drop the speed limit to 50km/h in that area! But seriously, if she couldn't stop for a log around the corner, and the truck clearly couldn't, they must've been both been going too fast.

It's difficult to tell from the camera but I think that might be a really steep road.
I agree with the truck going to fast but you need to remember how long it takes for a truck to stop in comparison to a car.
So then trucks should be going slower than cars on that road. Generally, not always though, if you can't stop safely in time for something on the road, you're probably going to fast.

By the time he saw it it was too late and he locked up the brakes on a decline. It's pretty common for brakes to overheat on older semis and lockup instead of functioning correctly. I really doubt he was going too fast, it was just shit circumstances.

Truck was going too fast.
Takumi has had a hard time adjusting to his new job in Australia, he's used to the roads being empty and his vehicle only taking up one lane when drifting, as well as doing it at 3AM and not the middle of the day. At least his drifting skills are as sharp as ever.
I wonder if the driver that lost control has unclenched his anus yet.

Compensate for your vehicle size don't speed like an asshole and then crash and blame your car for being too heavy
