Sorry man, been posted before. Funny nonetheless
COLLATERAL! COLLATERAL! OH YEAAAAAH!
Why is everyone so against the COD franchise? I think they're really good games!
Why is everyone so against the COD franchise? I think they're really good games!
It's not really as much of a bad game as it is a stale, over-rated, overpriced game. It's OK, just that htye keep repackaging the same stuff over and over, along with an ignorant fan-base, and it not having 60% worth of content.

Why is there a bias towards Call of Duty?
Why is everyone so against the COD franchise? I think they're really good games!
Used to be good games, the last good one was Black Ops and the community destroyed any potential outside of Zombies. MW2 was broken and once again destroyed by the community. While BO and MW2 has shitty story, WaW had a very nice single-player but the multi-player was destroyed by the community once again (outside of Zombies). To be honest, the only CoD game I will ever buy again would have to be from TreyArch, and that's only if Activision doesn't roll out with their subscription plan.
There's a difference between repackaging and being the exact same thing over and over again.
Really? Because in my opinion, Battlefield 3 looks like a spit-shined Bad Company 2. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline]
the last good one was Black Ops
It was the latest one released....

Also, you have NO FUCKING IDEA about BF3 if you're gonna' say that.
Also, you have NO FUCKING IDEA about BF3 if you're gonna' say that.
Well I do have an idea bout BF3. It doesn't look that great.
Also, stop arguing about re-packaging, it doesn't matter as long as it's a good game. CoD hasn't been doing it well, sadly. One thing about teh re-packaging is that they have such a small time frame to make these games because of the rules Activision has put in.
CALL OF DUTY IS SHIT BECAUSE IT USES RE-PACKAGED STUFF! Well I have fun with it, and tons of other people have fun with it.
Well I do have an idea bout BF3. It doesn't look that great.
My god, excuse me for saying sorry earlier, I take it back. Do you know what king of technology they have put in the game? Bad Company was using an entirely different engine, Frostbite 3 was remade from scratch for BF3 and it's been in the works for half a decade now. And that's just the tech behind it. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline]
CALL OF DUTY IS SHIT BECAUSE IT USES RE-PACKAGED STUFF! bf3 or mw3 Who will claim the shittiest game award? Tune in next post. Oh hey forgottenKane rated me dumb! wonder why
Ah, sorry about that, bad wording. You know what I mean though! Also, you have NO FUCKING IDEA about BF3 if you're gonna' say that.
Don't bother with him. If all that was added were just new guns, he would still cream himself over it.
Don't bother with him. If all that was added were just new guns, he would still cream himself over it.
I would love to be like that actually. If you're easily entertained then it's a sure-fire way to be happy all the time. I'm not saying that he is easily entertained, I am merely adding to your post.
Mario has a lot of repackaged stuff Assassin's Creed has a lot of repackaged stuff Sonic has a lot of repackaged stuff Pokemon has a lot of repackaged stuff Grand Theft Auto has a lot of repackaged stuff Rainbow Six has a lot of repackaged stuff Splinter Cell has a lot of repackaged stuff MGS has a lot of repackaged stuff The list goes on, yet people love the above mentioned games. Why is there a bias towards Call of Duty?
Mario is a Platforming game that usually adds a new and usually interesting mechanic with each passing game. It's sticking to a formula that works, and adding variations to it with new stages and gameplay mechanics. See: Gravity in Galaxy 1/2. Sonic (the Genesis ones anyway) is much the same as Mario. Adding new Mechanics (like tails in 2) to each new game, changing up the formula to stay fresh. Pokemon adds A COMPLETELY NEW SET OF MONSTERS WITH EACH NEW GAME. As well, the Gameplay is extremely changed with each new game. GTA expands not only it's world, but it's story as well (as of late anyway) with every new game. See: GTA 3 and San Andreas. MGS is not really known for it's gameplay, but more for it's memorable characters and situations within them (like Physco Mantis in MGS and the Security Camera in MGS4) The single player of Call of Duty games (after CoD4) Have been shooting people in corridors over, and over and over again for the past 4 games. There have been very little advancements on their formula, and when they do differ from that, it's been seen in a previous game. (See: the AC130 in CoD4, being rehashed in the other games) Though, that's just my opinion on what you posted, take that as you will.
Don't bother with him. If all that was added were just new guns, he would still cream himself over it.
No I wouldn't. I would notice that it was a rehash and ignore the game and try something else out.
Okay, how about this: Nintendo has said in a press statement that they remake almost all ingame models each time they make a new Mario game. Sonic games have recently sucked, so no point in bringing this one up. Pokemon has also lost originality, but they create almost all new Pokemon each new game. GTA on all levels is remade each game, what re-used material are you talking about? MGS re-uses many plot parts but other than that I really don't see why it's on this list. CoD games have been using old stuff for a while now, it's not that the teams are bad but Activision has a small timeframe given to make these games. Not only that but just because you re-use something doesn't mean it's automatically bad.
No I wouldn't. I would notice that it was a rehash and ignore the game and try something else out.
Hm.
I cannot wait for MW3. Five-Seven P99 Scar-L Skorpion MP412 FMG What next? G3?

No I wouldn't. I would notice that it was a rehash and ignore the game and try something else out.
It's hard to tell if it is right now or not, Activision has been holding back information about the game for a while now. But this also means that there's no use arguing about if it's good or not yet, not enough info is given to make that decision.
Hm.
Five-Seven never appeared P99 never appeared Scar-L never appeared MP412 never appeared FMG never appeared G3 only showed up once, and was under-rated Skorpion is one of my all time favorite Submachine Guns, and it's sticking into the next game. So no, they are not rehashed guns.
Black ops at least had a slightly interesting plot, whereas Modern Warfare 2 was just Call of Plot Hole: Modern Plot holes 2.
MW2's plot was very much like Swiss-cheese, but Black Ops plot is like eating 3-day old cheese in Chernobyl, it's really bad. MW1 and WaW both had very good plots though. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline]
Hm.
I think you're thinking about CS:S? The action was iffy too. But they did get spot-on with the multi-player and Zombies. Too bad multi-player was ruined day 1 by the mass onslaught of 12 year olds.
Indeed. To be honest I had fun with Black Ops' singleplayer story. It was compelling enough to keep me playing at least.
Yeah, it kept the action rolling. There wasn't a moment when I wasn't killing people or explosions.

Well it looks like we've reached a middle ground. And enough with the internet fighting, I think we've made a mockery of ourselves V:v:V.
