Once when I was camping my dad threw some canned beans on a fire cuz "that's how they used to cook em." About a minute later there were 3 people in the camp who had been hit by hot beans and can shrapnel.

Canned food is actually a pretty good weapon. Pretty heavy, durable, if you hold it like a cup and hit with the edges it could be a good self defense item.
Its going to be a long time before I hear 'can of beans' and dont instantly associated it with DayZ..

It wasn't so long ago some twat hit me round the face with a deodrant can literally 1-2 cm diagonally to the left of my right eye when he got mad at me. As I had just said something that offended him a bit too much I turned away and he swung it round in an arc. Needless to say it really fucking hurt, It swelled and stayed there for 2 or so weeks and according to Doctors had it hit me slightly lower it could of ruptured my eye.
So yeah, smart arses that decide to use a fucking metal object like you would use a punch to punish someone because you're pissed are idiotic scum.
I can't say I've ever bean in that situation.
Now she'll have to spill the beans in court.
