He has the potential to be very good. Imo he needs to loosen up a bit. I wish I could have that kind of energy conservation though, trying to drum like that for an entire session wears me down after about 5 minutes.

i saw these guys live, and the drummer is def the star of the show. he gets really fuckin sweaty after playing for a while and it just flies off of him. the ten feet around him is literally a splash zone. Ive also never seen a drummer that is so precise and fast at the same time. his drum solos were incredible.

he also plays with his head really low and close to the drums, and the drumsticks are like, a centimeter away from the sides of his head sometime.

This is a lot easier than it looks to be honest. It looks very impressive if you don't play the drums yourself, so it's good for showing off, but it's not really all that technically difficult.
