He created the Vaydor, which is a kit car. He designed he fiberglass body and associated hardware and accessories to fit onto the chassis of an Infiniti G-35. He sells the kit for under $16,000. He says he's sold around 25.
McEntegart says he was contacted by a person who supplies cars to movie producers. They had a character they believed would look good behind the wheel of a Vaydor.
Not really a supercar, but more of a kit that goes on top of another car. Still kinda awesome looking.
You still have to buy the car. So its car + kit which isn't under 16k to people who don't own a Infiniti G-35.
Looks good in pictures but it probably sounds like a hair dryer and half the appeal of a super car is the sound of the engine
What a stupid title, he made a supercar body for under 16k, not the whole thing.
Title is indeed misleading. A supercar is more then just the looks.
Looks good in pictures but it probably sounds like a hair dryer and half the appeal of a super car is the sound of the engine
all you need is some shitty ricer muffler for that. the exhaust is gonna be louder than the engine unless you're at really high revs, in which case people probably won't hear it anyway because you'd be on a highway
Cool, but with some major drawbacks:
- Relies on a 2003-06 G35 coupe. These things are impossible to find without being heavily molested by some 16 year old kid. On the bright side, if you do find a good one, it'll only be worth ~$8k, making this a total of ~$24k (i.e. the price of a base Mustang).
- Doesn't include wheels, brakes, or even any interior components. The interior conversion in the pictures is "additional".
- Doesn't include any performance modifications either. On the bright side, being that we're talking about the G35 coupe, there are plenty of modifications available.
All in all, a really cool idea, but only for fun. Can't buy it and pretend you're driving something *actually* exotic.
seems like this is the car/body kit (lmao) for the guy who always parades his fake Gucci belt around school pretending he's something that he isn't
Doesn't look as bad as half of the hot wheels body kits nowadays.
Looks like it came from Burnout, but I like it.

Not to mention how many other kit cars are already out there.
thought the pics were going to be disappointing after realizing it's just a kit, but it looks pretty decent

tbh it looks like a car you'd see in GTA
Looks like something that some sleazy guy would buy to make impressionable girls think that he's rolling in it
it's literally the joker's car in suicide squad wtf
You cant get a new supercar for 15k. For that money though you could probably buy a fairly old supercar, but it will most likely be in shit condition. If you want supercar performance though you can still get it for reasonable prices, usually from small superlight cars with massive power to weight ratios.
honestly i wish i could just take a bus
Godammit why can't you OPs just put the freaking picture in the first post

Pretending to be something it isn't lmao, I can only see like teenagers ever going through with this, and I don't think many would own a G35. Good aspirations by the creator but it's just childish.
Would look better without the stupid ricer rear wing.
i bet it's going to cost another 10k just to make all the panels fit properly
sound of the engine
Do you know how cars work?
Do you know how cars work?
what do you even mean? he has a point
This isn't a fucking supercar this is just some shitty regular car with a different shell.
i bet it's going to cost another 10k just to make all the panels fit properly
Given that you won't find an unused G35 and will likely be beat to hell, yeah you're probably right.
In the article he says he went for the look of a supercar, which he has achieved. You can't, of course, buy a supercar for that kind of money. You can't even buy a 911 for that kind of money.
It looks like a wrecked Mitsubishi Galant with it's "hnnngg so bad boiii" looking front, it's disgusting.
This is truly the final form of cheap ricers. the RCR guy would have a field day with this

Nah no way. Considering those are the kind of people who would go 'durr why would you buy a Ferrari when you can buy a CRX, strap a turbo on it, and paint the bonnet black'

Giving them too much credit.
Just lower the car.
Scrapes are war wounds now..
a new-ish low miles g35 in good condition will run you around 15 grand, plus the kit is 16 grand. you could buy a brand new lancer ralliart or a used corvette or 911 or evo for that kind of money.
if you throw in installation cost too suddenly we're talking used aston martin, noble, maserati, ferrari, viper, or NSX. you might even find a good detomaso pantera in that price range.
now throw in making a g35 make the sort of power a supercar does and handle as good as a super car does? coming up on new ferrari money
I guess you could throw it on a 150 thousand mile car and squeeze total cost including installation under 35 grand but then it's gonna be flashy and slow and probably unreliable
Looks good in pictures but it probably sounds like a hair dryer and half the appeal of a super car is the sound of the engine
It's a G35, not like a Fiero or something...

Yeah. G35/37's don't sound bad at all.
