One dead and 16 injured during clashes outside the House of Parliament
A 53 year-old builder and syndicalist of PAME dies during strikes, after being transported to 'Evangelismos' with atrial fibrillation, but finally dies due to a heart attack. An intervantion by the District Attorney was ordered, in order for his causes of death to be investigated.
According to an announcement by the Hellenic Police, at 16:00 within the Zappeio, a man approached a police officer and informed him of 'feeling sick' and sat on a bench next to the officer. 3 more men approached the spot and attempted to help, while the officer called in EMS at 16:07. At 16:23, an EMS motorcycle, and at 16:30 an ambulance (which also moved him to the hospital) arrived at the spot.
From the early hours of the day until 17:00, no police forces operated by Amalias Drive, from its intersection with Othonos Drive and until it's intersection with Olgas Drive, as well as the Zappeio, where no chemicals or any other means of riot policing was used.
At least 16 other injuries were reported, all of which were moved to Evangelismos. Moreover, one more man has been heavily injured due to cranioencephalic trauma, caused after falling from high ground, however, the Ministry of Health does not confirm the rumors that the patient is clinically dead.
Clashes
Riots were noted outside of the House of Parliament. PAME protesters have left from Syntagma Square, while clashes between the riot police and black blocs continue.
Earlier, black blocers, attacked the demonestrators with molotov bombs and stones. PAME attempted to stop the black blocers, forming a human chain, while it later attacked back. While the riot police barely participated at first, after the first few minutes they intervened with extended use of chemicals. Police forces were deployed, separating the PAME and the riot police (Probably a mistake, they must have meant that they separated the PAME and the black bloc).
Clashes developed in 4 spots of downtown Athens: Syntagma Square, Akadimias, Stadiou and Panepistimiou.
The protest, which the unions organized since early today in downtown Athens, in view of the parliamentary voting over the articles of the 'multi-bill' which will occur later, continues. However, a small number of protesters seems to have left after the clashes.
According to estimations conducted by the Hellenic Police, more than 35.000 people are protesting around the House of Parliament.
Earlier today, some tension occured in Monastiraki, when a team of black blocers threw molotov cocktails.
At the same time, charges, including which, 4 felonies, were announced by the District Attorney against 7 suspects who were arrested in yesterday's riots in downtown Athens.
Among the suspects are three underage students, while several of the arrested are charged based on the 'Hood law'.

tl;dr 53-year protester dies due to a heart attack, morons attempt to cause chaos and spoil the otherwise, peaceful protest, as always.
I don't think I can express myself in any appropriate way. I just can't help but feel ashamed of a society that develops people with so much hate for life and love for destruction. This has been going on for decades...
I'd like to express my honest condolences to the family of the victim.
I feel sorry for this guy.
Total bullshit.
Absolute bullshit with these out of control protests here in Greece. I can understand why the people are protesting because the government is full of corrupt cunts, but resorting to violence like this is fucking ridiculous.
2nd Peloponnesian war imminent.

They go out of control (mostly) due to these guys.
Want to start a riot even though you are at an obvious disadvantage? Good, infiltrate a peaceful union protest and attack the riot police with molotov bombs.
While not responsible for a death this time, seeing how they attacked unarmed protesters, I'd say that chances are that they are responsible for most of the injuries.
While I sometimes disagree with certain of the unions/syndicates on the way they choose to protest, they rarely participate in riots unless they feel they are being attacked.
So, a guy was sick, and died. That happens a lot. There's literally nothing linking it to any negative actions on the side of protesters or police. Why are people angry about this?

At least that's why I am angry. The title is a bit misleading, sorry.
The guys with molotovs and shit are fucking human scum. We're supposed to protest against our politicians, not wreak havoc across the country. Fucking pieces of shit.
I like how Greeks blame the EU, IMF and the World Bank for their current situation, while the fact is they voted criminally irresponsible governments in power, one after another.
They do not even have a reason to protest.

If people had salary like the Greeks in Slovakia, there would be no protests in our country. Ever.
If the Greeks cut down the salaries, they will still live well. But they are greedy fucks.
Only problem is, you cant live off debt forever (see US economical crisis)
(Im from Slovakia BTW)
