You heard me.
oh wow did they make the explosions with After Effects
this looks pretty crummy. i don't know what story needs to be told here that hasn't been done most probably better in the past [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] i like the bit though where the guy is zooming in with low powered optics on a bloke who looks to be like 50m away, aiming a rifle right at him, and he just puts up his hand to tell the others to stop comedy gold
The scope mount is comical. The T-34s mocked up to try to look like PzIVs are even better. I understand it is low budget but a lot of this could have been easily corrected...
american soldiers with lee enfields...what?
Oh god, that explosion.
Oh god, the plane models look like someone who just started using 3D software made them
Oh god, the plane models look like someone who just started using 3D software made them
They should've just added strings and recut the film as a comedy.
Germans with Vickers?
it looks like someone forgot to finish the texturing. where are the rivets and bolts and scratches and rust. warplanes are well maintained sure but look at this [t]http://www.cybermodeler.com/aircraft/b-17/images/na_b-17_06.jpg[/t] it's got a tonne of really obvious paint scratches and water damage, amongst other things
THQ stop shoving money into this.
A lot of it's taken from Band of Brothers, or are you guys trolling me pretending you don't know :v:
Wow same logo and everything. Nothing can beat band of brothers. Noooothing.
The entire movie will be shot from an isometric top-down point of view and before every battle you will see a green square surround the troops to tell them what to do.
Jesus conrad tie your fucking laces!
Why does the german tank at 1:41 look like a T-34 with a different turret...
Like I said in the thread about this in Sensationalists Headlines, how the fuck is this even related to the game? Because the game was about leading soldiers of several different companies to victory, NOT going have after a german secret weapon. It also took placing during fucking D-Day, not the Battle of the Bulge. This is more like Medal of the Honor: The Movie rather than CoH.
Well, in one mission you stop an V2(V1 maybe?) rocket factory with a limited amount of soldiers....so...it is CoH style to a degree.
Well, in one mission you stop an V2(V1 maybe?) rocket factory with a limited amount of soldiers....so...it is CoH style to a degree.
Yes, but that mission was only a minor plot thing, outside of that there was no mention of German secret weapons. And believe it or not, it's actually quite common for movies to use other vehicles to represent Panzers or other tanks, look at Patton. But they should've used CGI for tanks. If anything Company of Heroes would be better off as a mini series like Band of Brothers than a movie.
for some reason when watching this it looked like they crammed a bunch of other WWII movies together like Band Of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan, Saints and Soldiers, and a bunch of other WWII movies.
I want to see some more movies with the British/Commonwealth Forces in Netherlands with witty Quotes too!
Lt. General Horrocks: This is a story you will tell your grandchildren; and mightily bored they'll be.
THQ really had little to do with this. They sold the name, that was about it.
