Russian began air strikes in Syria on 30 September, saying it was targeting Islamic State (IS) militants. Last week, the US said both countries' planes "entered the same battle space" and came within miles of each other. Officials had been seeking an agreement since late September. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said the text of the deal would remain secret at Moscow's request, but that it laid out means for both sides to communicate and establish a hotline on the ground. The two countries would not, however, share intelligence on their targets, he said. Mr Cook also said the deal ensured aircraft would stay a "safe" distance from each other, but he would not confirm if specific distances were agreed.
Pretty weird lol, like a couple who recently broke up or some such shit

But our PMC's and locally supported militias can do whatever
I hope that some day NA and Russia will get along. We could achieve great things if we were not so divided. That goes for the entire world, really, actually. Imagine how much farther along we could be. I guess this is as good a place to start any? Not really working together but at least being tolerable of each other.
the fact that this agreement even needed to be made is ridiculous, there shouldn't be provocation above syria
They should be nice and share Syria between them. Russia gets the western bit and America gets the eastern bit, it's only fair.
the fact that this agreement even needed to be made is ridiculous, there shouldn't be provocation above syria
There's a pretty big concern over potential mid air collisions since NATO and Russian air traffic don't communicate with each other.
The way I've been seeing all the stress between big nations lately, I wouldn't be surprised if all it'll take is one bullet and we won't be staying away from each other anymore.
