They seem to be trying to take a fresh spin on it with influences (the power-ups and pseudo-exploration) from the NES game, and a lot of the attacks and animations are actually pretty faithful to Strider 2. Double Helix does a shitton of crappy licensed games, but this actually looks.. Good. So far.

Also Double Helix did Silent Hill Homecoming, who most consider to be the worst game of the franchise.

Not many people actually know that last bit, funny enough, thinking Strider was a Capcom-original franchise. :v:
