Grand Theft Auto V - Official PC System Requirements to be announced next week In its latest Q&A, Rockstar revealed that the official PC requirements for GTA V will be announced in the coming week. Responding to a fan question, Rockstar confirmed that it is currently in the final stages of development on the PC version of GTA V, meaning that the game will actually hit the platform this January. As Rockstar responded when a fan asked them about the PC requirements of GTA V: "Hi Alli, we're presently in the final stages of development on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V and hope to have confirmed official system requirements to share soon here at the Newswire, please stay stuned for that to be announced in the coming week. Thank you and we're very excited to bring GTA V to the PC gaming community!" oh no
I hope they have potato mode in case my computer can't handle it.
Yay! Now to find out how much I'll need to spend to get my computer to run it!
Hope the port is as good as Max Payne 3. I don't know what sort of black magic Rockstar worked but it ran incredibly well at decent settings on my old computer.
Here is hoping its good news for my machine with a GTX 760 and a i5 2400 with 4GB ram that still cannot run GTA 4 on max.
Hope the port is as good as Max Payne 3. I don't know what sort of black magic Rockstar worked but it ran incredibly well at decent settings on my old computer.
MP3 had insanely good optimization. I really hope GTA5 has that + full modding support if it does, GOTYAY
As long as I can run it in a decent framerate on Medium that's all I care about
Well if it is anything like IV's launch the requirements are useless since no machine on this planet can run it
Hope the port is as good as Max Payne 3. I don't know what sort of black magic Rockstar worked but it ran incredibly well at decent settings on my old computer.
There's a rumor going around that it is the team that did Max Payne 3.
I hope they have potato mode in case my computer can't handle it.
"XBOX360.ini"
MP3 had insanely good optimization. I really hope GTA5 has that + full modding support if it does, GOTYAY
MP3 ran so well because the levels were tiny. Every time a cutscene played it was loading the next level, which also the reason the game is 30 GB. :v:
"XBOX360.ini"
The files in the game that suggested a ps4/pc port also had mentions for a "last gen" toggle/mode who knows what it was meant to be used for, though
MP3 ran so well because the levels were tiny. It's all happening!
Here is hoping its good news for my machine with a GTX 760 and a i5 2400 with 4GB ram that still cannot run GTA 4 on max.
My gtx770 cannot even run it at Max.
Thank fuck I bought a great setup in August. c:
I just want my 60 fps
Well if it is anything like IV's launch the requirements are useless since no machine on this planet can run it
I'd hope that Rockstar learned their lesson since that fiasco.
Hope the port is as good as Max Payne 3. I don't know what sort of black magic Rockstar worked but it ran incredibly well at decent settings on my old computer.
Which is mainly because, as far as I know, Max Payne 3 wasn't a direct console port, the PC version was made "on the side", specifically designed for the platform. (And if the rumors are true, it's the same with GTA V)
Hope the port is as good as Max Payne 3. I don't know what sort of black magic Rockstar worked but it ran incredibly well at decent settings on my old computer.
I've played it maxed out (hurr) on a Mac and it runs smooth as glass. That's all I have to say.
Well i imagine it'll be PS4ish specs for medium-high. Eager to know though!
I just want my 60 fps
I trust that R* will give us what we need. Or ELSE.
Im not a computer whiz but wouldn't the specs be similar to the PlayStation/Xbox versions?
Well i imagine it'll be PS4ish specs for medium-high. Eager to know though!
I expect the minimum requirements to land somewhere around an i3/Phenom II X4, 4GB PM, and a Radeon HD 5850/GTX 460
Im not a computer whiz but wouldn't the specs be similar to the PlayStation/Xbox versions?
That depends on how they did the graphics engine, and how good of a port it is.
The studio that did the Max Payne 3 port merged with the studio that did the GTAIV port. The GTAV port quality is a coin toss
Finally, at least they fucking said something about it.
The real question is, is my GTX 750 going to be ready for this? "Are you prepared to suffer, for my amusement 750?"
The real question is, is my GTX 750 going to be ready for this? "Are you prepared to suffer, for my amusement 750?"
Hey, at least that's better than my GTX 560, and my 2.66Ghz quad core's getting on in age too.
