There's a strange sound within the pod before a eggs slips out, covered in a disgusting amount of slime, it lands on the flesh covered floor with a slight thump and begins to root itself in.
As the creature starts feeling the welcoming sense of organic life, the screen switches on, showing a green smile before it starts talking to itself in 4 different voices at the same time, creating an echoing effect,

Meanwhile, it smells the being outside, and several voices starts tlaking insides it's head,

Because this map IS a cortex command map.
Zombie cave, Grasslands and another map all in one. The cave from Zombie cave, the smaller cave on the right from grasslands and the small pit too.
The bigger cave on the right is from another one.

The hive begins to rapidly mutate, giving off an most disgusting smell, which is in reality, thousands of thousands small spores in the air who are designed to implant themselves into the victims lungs and slowly clog them, making long term exposure quite nasty.
The hive also begins growing a organic wall of flesh, to temporarily stop any intruders, you have to, though, admire the capabilities of this creature, how it can so simply consume so much and create life out of the most simple thing..
The thing decides it's time to make itself known and digs itself into the minds of the clones, speaking to them directly inside their heads,
