So I just upgraded from a brick to a HTC HD Mini, did I do the right thing?

The brick was Samsung, I found a link to some of its specs here:

I am on contract and this month I was offered a upgraded, I was offered several phones, the only 2 I was really interested in was the HTC Mini HD and the Blackberry Storm 2. I chose the Mini because I wanted games on my phone and I'm not sure if I did the right thing since after doing some research I found out that a lot of the 3rd party apps on the Windows marketplace don't support the resolution of the phone or something? would this include games? would they be unplayable?
I really hope I haven't made a mistake

Should have gotten an Android phone.
If I could have I would, the 2 I mentioned where the only smart phones on the list
Bad choice... Go blackberry or iphone (the next one)
